  1. i wouldn't fish a 3/4 jig on anything less than 20 pound seguar invizx .65 sufix braid would be good in thick weeds. Similar for me......Sufix 50-65.
  2. Like Raul said...this is just a sample
  3. I have the same experience after getting a LOT OF BIG FISH on them.
  4. This year 7" MS Slammer
  5. I've fished with the Tactical Swimbait series and it is a super rod, well made, very light and comfortable. Excellent all the way.

    My most productive swimbait.
  7. GLX BCR864 ( Senko rod ) with TD-Z.
  8. Fluoroclear and CX are both fluoro coated, CX is thinner and has less memory. CXX has no fluoro on it but it is suppoused to be stronger, more abrassion resistance and less memory. Evolution is the tougher of them and has also the less memory. I have change most of my sets from CX to this one. It is the best for big Swimbaits IMO.
  9. SkyChimp and Reelmech, very good info. I haven't taken mine apart yet on the crank side, I just changed the bearing and oil them.
  10. I normally use braid with all my spinning but I have one set that I use for small jerkbait with mono/copolymer. Most of the lines I've tried give me a nasty nest sooner or later. My best has been Triple Fish Spinning but I'm not 100 % satisfied. What do you guys recommend? Thanks
  11. T-rig or wacky are the only way I rig them
  12. Me too, sorry. I've never used anything from LS other than spinners and buzzbaits
  13. Absolutely. I heavy cover I use an insert weight 3/32 http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_15702_100010003_100000000_100010000_100-10-3
  14. I use them both. Rapala Shad Rap- is the best suspending crankbait. The DT and X-Rap are unmatchable but so are the LC Sammy, Gunfish, Pointers and Combats
  15. Thanks RW, good place.....the Monkey did it again.
  16. How does it do that ? ;D
  17. Around 2 weeks ago I was fishing with light swimbaits and the wind started to pick up so I started attending more to the TM and steering the boat than to my tackle. My 7.6 MH snapped on the cleat and broke in half, I was so furious with myself that I hit the rest of the rod in my hand with the side of the boat and broke it some more. I was really embarrassed and mad and planning to buy a different rod but a good friend talked me into calling the CS. I thought in making an story but I finally decided to come out with the true and already prepare to hear a good " we are sorry but accidental and stupid breakage are not covered". The only question I was asked was about the mailing of the warranty card and a request for the piece of the rod that carry the model # with $ 14.95 for S&H. Yesterday I got a brand new one at my door steps. That is the way to support a product. Thanks Okuma.
  18. Over the last few years I've adquired a few Quantums, 9 now between spinning and baitcaster so I have used their CS a few times......it is very nice to order parts b/c you do it on-line without interferance. I'm glad to see that people get their e-mail answered....in my case and over the last 10 years that I've used Quantum reel my mail has been responded less than 50 %, my last from Jan. 07 is still waiting. What it has happened is that I will never get a Quantum in my collection again .....while Daiwa and other exist.
  19. I use both, the Fat and Big, I prefer the big for heavier cover with a nail weight. I move from Gammies to Owner hooks which are heavier, G'N 4/0 for Fat and 5/0 in the Big. The regular size Ika works great for me as a finesse lure in clear waters with spinning tackle and in bedding fish.
  20. I would give them a call....they are terrible answering e-mails.
  21. Like he said. I use recycled line when it is not good anymore. Copolymer, fluoro or mono.
  22. Best baitcasters for finesse fishing, in that order. Daiwa Pixy. Daiwa Alpha/Sol. Shimano Scorpion
