You too. Had to wait to get to an actual computer to post pictures, it's a pain to do from my phone. I just was doing inventory and realized I need some more Rage Bugs so that was good timing.

I had a Fenwick ML 7' casting rod. Didn't like it, just sold it to a friend who bought it to give to his son for his highschool tournaments to use for a small crankbait rod. It was a nice rod, but I like spinning rods for light baits so it wasn't getting used at all and when it was I spent the whole time thinking I could be more effective with a spinning rod in my hand.

Sorry to hear that. I was catching fish Friday ?

Well I got a box of jigs from Siebert and was happy with those but then a box from TW showed up with 5 packs of Rage Bugs today. I'd already taken a picture of the jigs, and we all know what Rage Bugs look like, so here's the jigs.

15 minutes from me. Hit up Clinton lake or Lonestar, bunch of them in either.

Come to Kansas, you'll catch them without even trying.

Haven't used a newer model Sellus, but the older models weren't great while the Arid x fishes well above it's price range. I'd use more of them if theu were offered in more models.

I've never checked into it but I think Kansas has something similar but it only applies to fish that are filleted. I enjoy catching walleye and crappie when they're good sized, and the only way for them to get bigger is to make it back in the water to keep growing. I gave away a 5lb channel cat last summer, but Kansas stocks so dang many catfish in all the lakes they're almost a nuisance in some of them, especially when they feed them on top of stocking them.

I like watching Justin. He catches some monsters and mostly I enjoy that he just does what he likes to do and doesn't care about selling out for more views or sponsors or anything. When he gets going about people getting mad about him using crappie or bass for bait it gets me laughing. I'm hoping to catch a few of his "fun sized", catfish from my kayak next year.

I keep a plastic coffee container in the boat with a roll of TP in it. It does a great job keeping it dry because wet TP is almost worse than no TP. Way better than hoping you can dig enough napkins out of the glove box in your moment of need.

Bury a milk jug in the mud with hotdogs in it for craws. Leave it overnight. They craw in to get the food and can't get back out.

That's funny because I watch Kayak Catfish on Youtube and whenever he post a video where he's trying to catch them for bait it seems like he looses more of them than he lands. They look like they've got really thin lips that would be easy to shake loose, like a crappie.

I'd never use a circle hook but I'm sure guys do just like they do for wacky rigging. I'd never use it then either but I know it's pretty popular. O'Shaughnessy hooks would work if you had a small enough size. Get some Owner Mosquito hooks if you want to nose hook. Very good hook and very reasonably priced and you can buy them a lot of places in store.

Big trailer lets me fish it slow during the colder water months and is more appealing to a big fish (more food for less effort). My baits have a 6/0 hook on them, so they handle them no problem and the trailer keeper keeps them in place. Little 12-15 inch fish wad them up in their throats and get the hooks all the time.

Haven't gotten to use mine much yet but hoping to get some miles on it this winter. It's a nice bait with a tight wobble so I think it will do well during the colder months or anytime they want a less aggressive swim.

I like Indiana and Colorado blades, but I fish the willowleafs a lot as well. I have an affinity for copper, gold, and hammered blades too. This has driven me to start making my own baits so I can create the exact combinations that I want that are hard to find in a store bought bait. I usually refer to them as "Big ugly spinnerbaits". This one was really productive for me this spring, a 3/4oz head with a #6 and #7 hammered copper Colorado blade with a Kalin's Sizmic grub for a trailer. My wrist would get sore after fishing it for a hour or two but the fish were killing it.

You can use a wide gap wacky rig hook with decent success. I personally saw my dropshotting success go way up when I switch to the Owner Heavy Cover hooks. I use them any time I'm dropshotting a bait that will hold them and have far more success than with a nose hooked bait.
