Silent or rattling square bill crankbaits?
I like both, but I'd go rattling if I had to pick, mostly because a lot of the lakes I fish have a pretty good amount of stain to them. I agree with A-jay on the 6th Sense baits. I have broke the bill on a 75X banging it through the rocks, but I have several more that have performed as they should. Broken bills are something I've just come to accept when cranking rocks often.

Black & Blue vs. Junebug ?
As you mentioned @ChrisD46, I have better luck with junebug in lakes with a tannic stain to them, but it's a good dirty water color too. Also, anyone not fishing black and blue in clear water is making a mistake!

Lure swap
Countdown is on guys! Make sure you get your baits done and shipped out Monday! You don't want to miss out on any of the stuff I've got waiting from the guys that already sent their baits to me. I used one of the jigs from @Munkin to win our Thursday night tournament this week

pros travlin to tournaments
I believe it's Gary Yamamoto that has a custom trailer that is hauled behind a RV that has 2 levels with his boat on top and truck on bottom. It even has custom rest for the power poles to deploy down on top of so they don't hit on overpasses or road signs.

Early Spring and influence of the wind
The sun hits the north end the longest during the warmest part of the day and the south wind pushes the warmer surface water to the north end of the pond, warming it further. A degree or two makes a huge difference early in the year.

Fish identification help! Need experts!
I'm thinking maybe a silver shiner. It doesn't look like a golden shiner at all to me.

Lake Milford KS April15-16 2018 Fishing Trip.
You'll have fish starting to bed by then most likely, or at least very close to spawning areas. Any of those pockets that have sand/gravel mixed with big rocks will likely be loaded with fish. There's several like that down around the dam.

6" & 7" Soft Stick Baits : When , How , Where ?
I make special swinging football heads for the 7" sticks. I use a 7/0 monster worm hook and pour it on a 1/8oz head. Those big baits don't need much extra weight, but when you hop them along the bottom, the hinge action makes them dart all over like a feeding or injured baitfish or other prey item. It's produced some really nice fish for me.

I've got a pretty decent selection of KastKing reels going.

St. Croix Mojo Bass Glass Vs. Premier Crankbait
I don't but it would probably work for other moving baits. I've used an 8XD on it and it worked fine, a 10XD will be a load on it though. A lot of our lakes aren't deep enough to even use an 8XD, let alone a 10XD.

Best Fluorocarbon Line
I've been using some AbrasX recently and had good success with it. For light line applications, the Seaguar Finesse is really nice and super thin and manageable. I've tried lots of different brands and have come to the conclusion that if it isn't one of those lines, it's not worth using.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
I've lifted entire logs and cedar trees off the bottom with mine, they're surprisingly durable. Mine telescopes down to only 5', so they don't take up much room.

Grand Lake tips?
Lot of locals will tell you Hudson is better than Grand, but I've never fished it so can't say from experience. I know Grand can humble the best of them, or it can make you feel like you can do no wrong. I've been lucky every time I've been and got on them good.

Best Fluorocarbon Line
Tatsu is way out front of all others when it comes to fluorocarbon lines. I've had good luck with Gamma Edge as well, but it's much stiffer than Tatsu. I can't even tell I'm using fluoro with it, like fishing mono except I'm really careful tying my knots, just like with any other fluoro.

Dye your line?
There has been scented lines before that are no longer in production if that tells you anything.

Tungsten VS Lead Shakey Head
I'll just go ahead and light my wallet on fire, it'll be easier on me than losing all the shakyheads I lose to zebra mussels. I pour my own shakyheads for pennies, so I'll stick with lead.

My boat had a Minn Kota when I bought it, but it kicked the bucket after 3 years. I have a 3 bank Dual Pro now.

Yakers what kayak do you run?
I have an Ocean Kayak Big Game Prowler II. I don't a lot of experience with other kayaks, so I'm going off solely what I've experienced with it. Pros Not overly heavy, I car top it without too much struggle and have carried it for pretty good distances on my shoulders where dragging wasn't an option. Paddles and tracks fairly well. I'm sure my technique and form aren't the best and not sure if I have the best paddle for me because the guy I bought it from was much smaller than me and it seems a bit short. Front storage is nice for keeping rain gear and food/drinks in. Seat has several adjustable settings and is pretty comfortable. Cons I hate the rod pod in the center. It's worthless for most bass fishing rods and I'm not flexible enough to grab anything I put in there from the seat. It just eats up a ton of space that I can't use for much other than a drink and plier holder. I can't stand in it and stability does not seem good for a big kayak. Honestly just a touch above a canoe in the stability department. I've flipped it once and it really did not take much to do it. No rod holders built into the hull, although the newer models do have them. Overall, it's been good for what I paid for it, but I wouldn't even consider it for half of what retail is.

Lure swap
Since the 15th is a Sunday, I think maybe make the 16th the deadline? That way everyone has all weekend to get them done and in the mail Monday.
