ROAD TRIP!!
If you can bring it that would be great. I will have mine and several of my buddies will too but not sure how many open seats we will have. I'm flexible with lodging. I've stayed at Schooner Creek Resort several times and been pretty happy with it and there's a ramp right there. I would be open to any suggestions though.

May have to go finesse, Suggestions?
Braid with a leader is the best way to go for a Ned rig. I use 10lb KastKing Super Power braid to a 2-3 foot leader of 8-10lb line.

Kastking Sharky II
I have one in the 2000 size I use a lot for wacky rigs. It's a really impressive reel for the money. Caught all our fish in the last tournament of the year that I fished to win and get big bass with it.

HELP! IDENTIFY these JERKBAITS.
I believe @scaleface might know a little more about them than I do. I'm pretty certain that they've been discontinued for some time now.

Lure info- Old, Storm Wiggles, Luck Craft, etc
The newest version of them runs pretty good (bad?) like the pre-rap warts did. Even with the pre-raps, it wasn't every one that hunted. So a lot of guys that know what they're doing will buy big lots, test them all to find the ones that hunt, then sell the others individually and a lot of times come out ahead. They're crazy effective in the Ozark lakes at times though. I was unfortunate enough to fish behind a really good wart fisherman on Table Rock once when they were really keyed in on it. I might as well have not brought any rods since all I did was net his fish all day.

Neoprene gloves not warm at all
I use neoprene gloves during the winter when I know my hands are going to get wet (throw netting shad mostly), but everything else I wear fingerless wool gloves from White River/BPS.

Wheres the best place to work????
I'm in the same line of work as volzfan. Been doing it over 10 years now and it fits most of the criteria you're looking for. It's stressful at times, shift work so schedule isn't always ideal. It has everything else you're looking for though. I have about as good of benefits as you can get, great retirement, vacation, chance for advancement, and the department I'm at starts a couple dollars more than what you're looking for. It really is a job that either you're cut out for, or you're not though. That's why there's such a high turnover ratio. Something you might look into though if you're interested. Not sure where in KCMO you're located but we have some guys that drive from there to work every day.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2018
That's just his running style. It's maddening to watch him seemingly just stand in the backfield waiting for a hole to open and then blowing through it. He's been a mystery that KC can't even begin to figure out when they've met.

4 lb. line
I don't crappie fish often, and I don't eat them, but if I can find some bigger ones I'll fish for them. One of my most productive baits has been a 3" Berkley power minnow on a 1/16oz jighead. It gives you that bigger profile, without adding a ton of weight, and it still falls pretty quickly because there's not much to provide any drag to slow the fall. It's been pretty productive for me.

Bass Fish All Year Then This Happens
I hook some in the sides on jigging spoons every winter. I think they miss the bait on the fall and their momentum carries them over the top of bait, then it gets them next time I lift it. Just a possibility on how it could happen. The base of those fins are surprisingly tough. She's obviously been eating good!

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
Fished La Cygne for a few hours Monday and Tuesday, still from a johnboat since Jayhawk seems to be taking their time getting to my boat Monday was much better than Tuesday. Caught a fat one that went right at 4 from a laydown the first 10 minutes of getting there. I lost a big one on a Shine Glide, then caught a bunch of smaller fish on a shakyhead and 1 on a spinnerbait. Tuesday was very slow. I've been launching from the shallow ramp across from the outlet and yesterday I caught one of a spinnerbait right next to the tires before I took out, so I made a cast from the bank before I launched and caught one again. That was the last bass I caught for about the next 2 hours. I finally caught a dink on a shakyhead and then caught a few more when I realized they wanted it dragged instead of shaking. Caught another one about 3 out of a laydown on a beaver, a white bass on a jerkbait and one on a trap, then one more on the spinnerbait off the tires before I left. Probably about a dozen fish total Tuesday. Water along the rock wall went from 62 Monday, to 57 Tuesday, apparently that will make the bite tough

Whopper Plopper 90
I have all 4 sizes, I don't think it hurts to have one of each the 90 is the one I have the most of by far though.

2017 Fishmas Loot
I was going for perch/bluegill colors hoping that was the main forage you have there. That buzzbait is my favorite of theirs, caught some really big ones on it. The swimbait heads are actually ones I made too. Just got the mold in time to send you a couple

HELP! IDENTIFY these JERKBAITS.
I agree that they're Roger's Slim Jims. Only place I've seen them in is the Roger's Sporting Goods in Liberty, MO.

Bladed jig observation questions
I use a wide variety of colors, but black and blue is one of my big fish colors, even in clear water.

Best line?
That's a very broad question that is going to vary a lot depending on technique, and cover/structure you're going to be fishing.

Shimano 50/51 Calcutta Owners, Reel Seat Question
Mine sits tight to both rods I fish it on (an Ethos Micro and Avid). The tape is your best option if you can't get it fixed though.
