  1. Rage Craw, YUM Christie Craw and Craw Papi pretty much cover all my craw needs.
  2. I'd contact Minn Kota first before doing too much trying to fix it yourself. You run the risk of doing something to void your warranty and then you're really out of luck.
  3. Been a rough go lately. Fish are scattered and tattered, trying to recover and regroup from the spawn and get into their summer patterns. Went to one of my favorite local lakes Friday and it beat me pretty bad. Green sunfish were attacking my bait every cast, no matter what I tried. Water was backwards, main lake was pretty clear and river water looked like a dirt road mud puddle. Still managed one beat up gal back in the mud on a homemade bladed jig.
  4. House and a folding table in the background? Looks like a bass that's been in a cooler and lost a lot of it's color prior to going to the chopping block to me.
  5. I think we've all heard the stories about monster bass in the local lake or pond, usually from someone who had a close encounter with the great white whale, but lost her due to some unfortunate mishap. Good luck in your ventures, no matter how unlikely they may be, you can't catch it if you don't try right?
  6. I recently bought the 9.1 Zillion and have really been happy with it so far. It was the only reel I used to get the W in the Thursday night tournament this week.
  7. I own a couple TCS rods, a Cerros reel, RTX spinning reel, Helios and Helios TCS baitcasting reels, as well as several Okuma baitfeeder spinning reels I use for catfish. I've been very pleased with all of them. Nice thing about them, as I've said before, they don't get the love that Shimano, Daiwa, Lew's, or Abu get, so you can find some great deals on them. The TCS rods can be had for right around $100 new any day if you look around a little. I paid just over $100 for my Helios TCS brand new. The RTX is an excellent spinning reel that gets zero attention despite being very light, well put together, and having a higher speed retrieve than a lot of spinning reels on the market. They have excellent customer service if you need anything from them as well.
  8. Does it have a metal lip? They made one called a Spence Scout.
  9. I keep all my stuff in my shop even when temps get in triple digits and haven't had any ill effects.
  10. Lots of topwater baits roll or walk so the side of the bait is facing at least slightly downward at some point during the retrieve. Others, like poppers and prop baits, might sit a little lower in the water where their sides can be seen at least partially. I'm in the KISS camp when it comes to topwater colors. I like translucent, bone/white, and bluegill colors, but I could see where a guy might feel a really realistic finish could get a few more bites.
  11. I was thinking I'd heard they'd already sampled Asian carp DNA in one of the Great Lakes? They're nasty fish to have in a body of water. Fun to shoot with a bow, and good cutbait for big catfish, but stinking, slimy, bleeding all over, nasty fish.
  12. I'd add teachers to that list. So much more value should be put on the folks we count on to teach the future of this country. Good for the Raiders. Would be great if Mahommes turns into something for the Chiefs and they get to battle it out for many years to come.
  13. Many of our lakes are experiencing major algae blooms right now as our water temps are reaching the 80 degree mark. It can make the fishing difficult at times.
  14. 1/8oz Roadrunner or rigged Creme Scoundrel, caught everything with those baits.
  15. That's a big lizard. I'll take my chances with the 'naders, you southern guys can have them things.
  16. I'll take a couple big ones over a bunch of dinks any day!

My buddy asked what it is. Normally I can identify a bait, but I'm stumped on this one.
