Swim jig rod - St Croix vs Loomis
That LTB is an awesome finesse jig rod, I'd assume it would be great for swim jigs but I rarely fish them.

Poison Tail Jigs
Cool, have any pictures of them?

Can You Guys Clear This Up For Me?
Probably roaming around mainly. Bass tend to wander aimlessly when they have nothing to hide by.

Medium or Medium heavy for crankbait rod?
I'd also go MH in your situation.

What was the deciding factor?
I like competition and I like fishing, seemed like the obvious choice.

Shimano Casitas Thoughts? Opinions?
Had one, it's smooth and cast a mile, but it didn't have much torque when fighting a fish.

Spring / Spawn Lizard Technique ?
Swinging football head, keeps the nose down like they're looking for eggs but lets it sway around a little like it's crawling on the bottom.

Aurora color
This is a better description than the one I gave. It does look like an oil slick on the surface of the bait.

What rig for plastic worm (late April/Early May Northeast
Spring time is wacky rig time for me.

Red shad laminate senko
A red shad 10" power worm is staple summer time bait in some of the lakes I fish. My biggest bass I've caught in Kansas was on a red shad YUM woolly bug, which I don't think is a color they offer anymore in that bait. It seems to work well in stained water.

Wish me luck......
Good luck, hope everything works out for you.

Is Snakehead Good to Eat?
Looks like wiper fillets with that red meat. Have to cut that out of wiper and catfish or they're not edible. Not a big fish eater, but that mango puree sauce sounds good, I'd try it.

Frustrated with other people fishing my pond!
A friend of mine has a nice pond on his property that only a him and a few others are allowed to fish. It had never been fished until we did the first time several years ago. We wore them out, nice fish too up to 7 pounds. We hammered that little pond almost daily after that great first trip. After the first few weeks it got really hard to catch them on anything. If we didn't know better, it would have seemed like there weren't hardly any fish in there. The fish didn't go anywhere, they were seeing our baits, just not eating. What I'm saying is, without any proof that anyone is actually removing fish, there's no way for you to know that the other guys are keeping anything. They might be struggling like you and thinking the same of you, that you're keeping 20 fish a trip and ruining the pond. They might just be getting conditioned to the fishing pressure and becoming more wary of angling pressure, especially if you fish the same baits and areas every time like we all tend to do at times. It's a slippery slope trying to bring this up to the property manager. Maybe he agrees with you that people are keeping too many fish, but that's not his job to keep track of so he decides to just pull the plug on everyone. I think I'd try to talk to the guy, get to know him over a period of time and break your ideas and concerns to him slowly so if it starts to rub him the wrong way you can pull back without him shutting it down on everyone. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

Fluorocarbon For Jigging?
I have it on a couple jig rods, copolymer on a couple jig rods, and braid on a couple. All depends on the situation on which one I reach for.

Buying binge how do you control it?
Mine is acutely aware of the fact that I have no control.

Bladed Spoon
They used to make some baits like the chatterstick that were various different baits that had a chatterbait blade on the front. No idea if they worked or not. I'm sure that will catch some fish.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
First fish on one of my new finesse jigs, and first fish on my new Favorite rods White Bird. An exceptional fish for this lake. I caught over 30 more, only 1 of them would have even approached 1 pound.

No Switchable Anti-Reverse
I back reel and use the thumb bar on the baitcasters. Drags are set for that situation when a fish takes off faster than I can react, other than that I don't use the drags. If you've ever fished around zebra mussels, you'd understand why I'm paranoid about trusting the drag.
