For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
No, they just look it over now, it's way more laid back. Drag a jig, probably on the deep corners or the docks by now. I like the flatter bank on the southeast side of the lake in the west arm. Ned always catches fish and a drop shot has been good the last couple times. A weightless t rigged senko, not wacky rigged for some reason, works very well. Dragging a black and blue hula grub is good too. Never have had a good moving bait bite there.

Okuma Review
She doesn't have to know! It makes them much easier to hide when they have reels on them. It's the unmatched rods or reels laying around that get the suspicious glares.

What Does Confident Fishing Mean To You
I'm fishing confident when I'm doing what I know and what I feel should be working, and it's producing for me. Nothing increases confidence like going out, fishing, and having success.

Daiwa Exceler 4000H line capacity?
Sunline Defier Armilio is probably the smoothest mono I've fished. You might be able to get away with 15lb in that. Personally, I'd go with braid without question in that situation.

Daiwa Exceler 4000H line capacity?
It's not going to matter how much 15-17lb mono you can get on there. That heavy of mono on a spinning reel is going to be a nightmare.

Plunger President SE
Have the money in Paypal ready to order as soon as they're available I don't like the pre-order game. The LE looks and feels nice, but after watching @gardnerjigman struggle with the handle knob on his, I went with an Okuma STX instead. Love my Pflueger reels, but didn't want to risk having the same mess happening with my reel.

Okuma Review
I really agree with this sentiment. After getting the chance to test some of their gear I've been impressed enough to go out and buy some of my own. I have not been disappointed by any of it yet. I got the chance to fish a Helios micro rod and reel a bit when roadwarrior was in the boat with me a few weeks ago. Completely blown away by how light it was. I've been shopping for which one I'd like to get since then.

Gonna get my ned on. What size hook
#2 or #1. The small hook still sticks fish well and doesn't snag as much because of the smaller hook gap.

Best big bass baits
Sounds like perfect water for a dark colored bladed jig. It's bulky and the strong, steady vibration helps the fish hone in with their lateral line, which will probably be their main means of finding fish in really dirty water.

Plunger President SE
There's a President LE (Limited Edition), XT (upgraded president), but no SE that I'm aware of?

Oversized frogs
I've never seen a bass, or any fish for that matter, try to eat a very large frog, especially a bullfrog that I think those a mainly meant to look like. No doubt a big fish would eat one if you threw it enough, but I don't think your catch of big fish would improve any over a regular sized frog.

$9.53 for 2x 1/2 oz VMC Tungsten
That's highway robbery. I paid $.69 apiece for 1/2oz tungsten last time I bought in bulk. $2 a sinker for 1/2oz is pretty standard price.

Watermelon Red Color For Spotted Bass ?
It's a very good color for spots for me, especially with a touch of chartreuse JJ's on the tail. Same goes for smallies.

My biggest catch yet!
Try a live bluegill next time instead of cutbait. While flatheads do readily eat fresh cutbait, a lively bluegill/sunfish/bullhead/carp will call them in from a distance better than the cutbait will. The biggest flatheads tend to always be around the nastiest stuff too. So if there's anything like a big rock pile, log jam, undercut bank, those would be good areas to place a bait near.

Favorite Finesse Worm
