  1. I have both the Stradic CI4 and the Supreme XT. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy 2 Supreme XT's and save myself some money.
  2. I save mine in a 5 gallon bucket and trade them for a few hand pours with local guys.
  3. For a size reference. No modifications needed. Anyone with the smaller swinging football head mold can pour them.
  4. I pour a 1/8oz version of these with a 2/0 owner short shank EWG rig N hook. I use them for 3" Pitboss and small craws, but it fits a TRD, I just have no use for a weedless Ned Head.
  5. I haven't but it's done great pouring heads with small keepers and such that were difficult to pour with my 10lb pot.
  6. Big-O is a great guy. I've had the chance to meet him a couple times. Strike King is very lucky to have someone like him on their team. He can tell some great fishing stories too
  7. Recently, when I plug my charger in, 2 of the 3 banks switch to "check connection". I changed the fuses hoping it would be something easy like that but no luck. Other than the obvious cleaning the connections, any other ideas what I might try to fix the issue? I thought about getting new fuse holders and seeing if that helped as well. Not sure what the life expectancy is on these things, but I'm assuming it was put on the boat when the boat was new, so it's not even 5 years old.
  8. I'm using an Okuma RTX 25 that I got online for $75. It's very lightweight and solid feeling, and had the high speed retrieve I was looking for. I love my Presidents, but they're painfully slow if you're fishing in very deep water.
  9. Give them a call. Memphis Pyramid, TN | Bass Pro Shops 1 Bass Pro DriveMemphis Pyramid, TN 38105901-291-8200
  10. I've seen videos of divers 100+ feet at Table Rock. It's like a desert that deep, no signs of life anywhere.
  11. I don't like changing to larger hooks on topwater or jerkbaits. Topwaters often have the hook size required to make them work as advertised, changes to that can affect or even kill the action. Jerkbaits typically have the hooks needed to suspend properly. This changes with water temp, but I also feel like heavier hooks ruin the baits action by making it act more sluggish. If you need to add weight for balance I'd suggest getting suspend dots or strips, much easier to adjust weight that way.
  12. They just recently upgraded them, maybe at the same time the introduced the silent WP? I saw the new hooks when I was at the tackled store Friday. They look very similar to the hooks I replaced mine with.
  13. Split shots don't come through snags as well and also can damage the line. A pegged bullet weight makes a decent replacement if you can't find the mojo weights.
  14. I'll go up to 20 in heavy timber in lakes where the big ones live. For standard, everyday cranking, it's a bit bigger than I'd like but you can use it still.
  15. CXX as in P-line CXX? I've always tied a palomar but can't imagine either of the knots listed failing with that stuff either, it's one of the strongest (but also thickest), lines out there.
  16. The bodies of water I fish that have bad topwater bites, I seem to only have good success on soft plastics and jigs. They ignore most moving baits in addition to topwaters.
  17. I bet they went fast. I passed one day, but it called me back a couple days later. The 7' M/F I wanted was gone and the one I bought was the last one here. They still had a few of the LTB's though.
  18. I use the Hot Pot II and like it because I can control the speed of my pour much easier. The downside is it has no temperature control.
  19. I'd bring them.
  20. Same, just like the OP did in his first picture, sans the glove.
  21. Sorry to any of my friends that are soccer fans, but that was funny.
  22. It's still going to be a much slower moving bait that rocks farther side to side than a Pompadour. I think you'll have a hard time getting the tail end of a CC down into the water far enough to spin a prop as well since they sit fairly high.
  23. Scheel's had St. Croix Avid X for $120 and LTB for $180. There were some Triumph X that I think were $60 but I didn't really look at them. Ended up with a 6' 6" MH/F Avid X because of reasons.
  24. Booyah or Spro. Just got a Teckel last week that I'll be trying out soon.
  25. No need for a glove with flatheads, they don't have the bite power of blues or channels. Might lose a little skin, pretty much like a big bass though, little rougher teeth. Trick is to not try to jerk your hand out of the mouth if they start thrashing around. That's a heck of a fight if you've never caught anything over 6 pounds previously.
