Pit Boss or Sweet Beaver?
I use a 2/0 EWG short shank Owner Rigging hook for the 3" and a 4/0 EWG or 4/0 straight shank for the 4" depending on how I'm fishing it.

Bizzare
Just yesterday I walked down to a bridge by a small creek that I fish occasionally that has an assortment of different kinds of fish in it. I'd been there for a minute or two when I started to smell cigarette smoke like someone was standing next to me smoking. I heard something move behind me and looked under the bridge to see a guy who was obviously living there. This is out away from town a bit, not really a place you expect to find someone living under a bridge. The fact that he was under there and behind the tall grass was a bit unnerving also and he'd obviously been watching me because as soon as I saw him he said "Hi, rude not to say hi to someone when you first meet them". I was done fishing at that point.

Pit Boss or Sweet Beaver?
Sapphire Blue and Lime Purple Passion are the 2 I use the most. Big Texan, Junebug, and black and blue get a lot of use too.

Ok, how about...rage craw vs. Hula grub
Completely different baits, but again, I take the Rage craw for versatility.

Pit Boss or Sweet Beaver?
Pit Boss, it's a more versatile bait IMO.

Mojo Bass rods
I've heard very good things about the new ones. Do I "need" one? Define need.

Spinnerbait Recommendations
War Eagle is about all I throw. I tore them up a couple weeks ago on a white with copper blades 3/8oz War Eagle.

Muddy water spook
They will work in muddy water. I've had success fishing them slowly and sometimes with prolonged pauses. Like others said though, I prefer to go with a different bait in muddy water.

Let's Talk Froggin
Once you get to the postspawn period then yes, you'll likely find some of those bigger females on the first drop into deeper water in that area.

Skipping frogs for bass with some slow motion explosions

Unbelievable Catch
If you have much experience with bullfrogs it's not unbelievable at all. They're a nuisance at one of the ponds I fish. I can't hardly finish, or sometimes even start, a retrieve with a frog before I have one in hot pursuit. They're super aggressive and dumb as a post. I've had them eat a bait, unhook them and toss them back, just to have them eat the bait again next time it came by. It's really bad when I don't see them and just see or hear the splash back in the weeds when I'm fishing a frog. I've had a couple about get sent into orbit on the hookset. I had one jump on the back of a Spro Rat fishing it along a grassy shoreline once, thankfully he didn't get the hooks.

Soft Plastic colors
Green pumpkin catches fish everywhere in every color water. My second choice would be solid black.

Whopper Plopper
The BPS by me has a bunch of both sizes in stock. I know the local tackle shop has 2 fewer bone 130's after I stopped by today
- Golf anyone?

Baby brush hog vs. Rage craw
Different baits with very different actions and profiles. I'd rather fish the Rage Craw because it seems to produce more big fish for me.

top water bait wrist pain
My elbows start to hurt sometimes after long days if I'm chunking and winding. My wrist and forearms get tired those first few jerkbait trips of the year. I'll usually switch back and forth between spinning and casting since I use different hands for each.

Metallica vs Megadeth
Metallica for sure. Saw them in concert several years ago and it was an awesome show. Their new stuff sucks, but the older stuff is some of my favorite rock music out there.

How common or rare?
That's a common thing during spawning season. They'll tear their tails up on the bottom fanning the silt off their eggs to keep them from dying. It'll heal up later in the year, nothing to be concerned about.
