Retrieve For Paddle Tail Swimbait ?
I usually opt for a slow, steady retrieve, but stop and go works well too.

Whopper Plopper Help
I use 50lb braid and fish it on my frog rod. It's a heavy bait that needs stout equipment.

S-Waver Swimbait Advice
The small size isn't very effective. It doesn't swim like a glide well at all. Best off to put it on a spinning rod and just use a steady retrieve.

2016 ICAST Leaks/Wish List
Kitchen shears work best. The ones I use are $.88 at Wal-Mart.

Show me your tackle bags/boxes!
I have a very unorganized Cabela's bag for the yak.

Show me your tackle bags/boxes!
Plus they float and are motorized, much easier than carrying one

Tie me on four baits.
I agree with the bladed jig suggestion. They're great for fishing over submerged weeds because the strong vibrations calls fish out of the weeds.

Bow fishing Questions
As long as you can adjust your draw weight down you should be alright. I use a smaller bow with a 45lb draw weight that works very well. The shorter length and lighter weight allows me to draw quickly and see down the arrow to my target better. I've used my hunting bow before but the problem is you'll blow through almost ever fish you shoot and you'll destroy tips faster and luck be with you if you ever miss and hit a log or stump.

Show me your tackle bags/boxes!
A little more than I've spent on other tackle storage systems, but it does hold a ton of gear!

Replacing Trebles On Popmax & W Plopper
What size WP? I use the 130 and changed them to #4 VMC Spark Points. The stock hooks will bend pretty easily.

Finesse Fishing
One of the lakes I fish often has very stained water, but a shakyhead is regularly one of my most productive baits.

Buzzbait question
Early and late are best but they can work all day long, even if it's sunny out. Nothing wrong with your knot being able to move like that.

night fishing!
I fish the same areas but the bass tend to be shallower and roam around more, not holding as tight to cover. I like larger baits and typically go with darker colors, but with a full moon I'll often go with lighter colors. I do not like topwaters or treble hooked baits at night for safety reasons. I use a small headlight that stays off unless I really need it. No black lights for me, I prefer to go by feel alone.

Dumb You Tube Fishing Stuff
I prefer to just watch people fish. I don't need the unboxings, obnoxious music I've never heard of, or instructions how to rig a Texas rig, but some people like and need that. I stick to guys out fishing for the sake of fishing and leave the others to guys who are into that stuff.

Are Halo Starlight Rods Any Good?
For $20 why not buy one and give it a try? You're not out much if it sucks, and you're way ahead of the game if it's even halfway decent.

2016 ICAST Leaks/Wish List
One of the guys I follow on Youtube has a solution for this already. A few more options are the finesse wormZ, FattyZ, or a Hula Stick. All are thinner than a Zinker and offer different, unique actions.
