Can you comment on old posts?
You might catch a little ribbing for grave digging, but there's no rules against it.

Seaguar Tatsu-what have I done??
If you were thinking about trying it, now would be a great time!

Tried searching the Ned rig post and..
It was a JC Bass Badges and Buds tournament. Which flathead? I caught a 65 pounder Friday on a finesse jig, then a 21.5 pounder Saturday during the tournament on a Ned rig.

New guy from Independence Mo
I have not personally fished Hillsdale this year even though it's one of the closest lakes for me but it seems to be fishing pretty well. I heard it came up considerably, which is really a good thing since it was very low before the rain. That lake fishes much better when the water is up in the bushes and weeds. We have a really active group of guys from around the KC area.

Other Species Latest Catch Pics Thread
I can't hardly make a trip this year without doing this it seems. Hurt even worse that it was during a tournament again.

shimano baitcasting reels quality
All Curado's. I fish a lot, probably more scuffs than most guys like, but I keep them cleaned up so they keep doing what I need them to do.

Tried searching the Ned rig post and..
They're both plastic on a jighead, that's pretty much where the similarities end. Shakyheads are generally heavier, larger hooks, rigged with the hook point buried in the plastic, and fished on the bottom. The Ned is suggested to be fished on a head no heavier than 3/32oz, with a small wire, short shank hook, with the hook exposed, and is mainly fished off the bottom. The Ned rig isn't anymore effective than a shakyhead though, is a pain to rig, and only catches small fish. I highly suggest you stick with the shakyheads and this Ned rig fad will fade away soon enough.

How to Keep Fish Alive
Neither of those will be a good option to keep fish alive. Even if they are alive by the end of that time, their chances of survival are not good. I use something like this to keep large numbers of big baitfish alive while I'm fishing for flatheads. http://www.cabelas.com/product/fishing/fishing-tools/cast-nets-bait-tanks-bait-prep%7C/pc/104793480/c/104720580/sc/104258880/floating-bait-cages/701763.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fcast-nets-bait-tanks-bait-prep%2F_%2FN-1100394%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104258880 You can buy them or make your own out of mesh material and pool noodles. Add some kind of weight to the bottom (I used a metal hoop to keep it from collapsing in the current), and always make sure you look before you put your hand in there, snakes love to get inside those things to try to steal your fish.

How to start fishing tournaments
I started at 16 in a bass club. I'd suggest going that route since it's pretty inexpensive and gets you an idea if you'll like it or not.

I'm so tired of weather forecast constantly changing....
I can think of worst ways to die than being struck by lightning while I'm fishing. I've fished through some nasty stuff, way worse than I should have. Unless it looks like it's going to do it all day, I'm going. 20mph winds, , if it only makes it up to 20mph I'm pretty happy.

Is the Ned rig just a small fish bait?
Do you really have to change colors with them that often? Not that I'm really worried about it because the whole rig is pretty cheap, but it's pretty rare that I find one color is really outfishing another color or even feel the need to try a different color.

shimano baitcasting reels quality
I like my I's better than my E's. I have 4 E's I'll trade for I's if you like them better. 3 200E7's and 1 E5. The new 70 is the nicest reel I've owned and I'm planning on owning a few more.

Fishing log
I love it. Takes very good video and is very easy to operate. I have the wristband that I can remotely start/stop, and take pictures with. I have an app on my phone so I can see what the viewfinder sees before I take a picture or start recording and I can operate it from my phone as well.

A chartreuse fish?
One of my favorite bait colors is Sapphire Blue. Not a color you see often in nature, but I see it hanging out of a bass' mouth pretty often.

- Does bug spray affect the fish bite?
I believe it does, and if you believe it effects your fishing, it's going to effect your fishing.- El Dorado KS
Last issue of BASS magazine had a 6lb 2oz SMALLMOUTH from El Dorado in the Lunker Club page. I'd check it out if it was 2 hours closer.- northwest montana bass fishing
