  1. These are the best IMO. 6 lber-Jig X 2 lber 3 lber 4 lber 6 lber Good luck on your trip. Catch some bigguns! Dan
  2. Y'all are most welcome. I nearly went crazy searching for a Pork-O replacement and those Slinkies fit the bill. For some reason, their purple color has been my best producer. Dan
  3. Man, I wouldn't complain! You caught some fine fish. I've never heard of catching catfish on a Senko. I'd say you should pat yourself on your back 8-). Dan
  4. There's a link to their site in this thread. It is similar to a drop-shot rig but I use the rigging method that keeps the bait near to the bottom. You "float" the worm by your rod tip action. The bead is just to keep the swivel-clip from banging into or getting tangled with the worm's 'nose'. Dan
  5. Got to my boss's pond and started throwing a little topwater bait and caught 2 keepers. Looked up the pond and there's a jonboat with two people in it. Didn't look like they were fishing and as they got closer, I saw one was running the trolling motor while the other was dumping what I later found out was fertilizer into the pond. They commenced to run right up where I was and that ended my fishing there. Went up to the upper end and caught two dinks and then came back to the deeper end and saw they'd finished fertilizing and had pulled the jonboat out of the water. Threw a Wiggle Rig/Speed Worm out from the bank and caught a 2 lber. Tried it again and a nice 5 lber picked it up off of the pond's bottom. Caught 3 or 4 more dinks and left for home, happy for the 5 lber. Click directly on the pic for better resolution: Wiggle Rig--5 lbs, 9 ozs--23" Again Once more Dan
  6. Outstanding BASS BP72!!! Jigs are a whole different game eh? Dan
  7. MY LORD!!!!!!! My jaw dropped ! One of the prettiest and certainly, one of the heaviest BASS seen for a while 8-). Dan
  8. Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!! It stretches like salt water taffy >. Dan
  9. I still have a jar of Pork-Os and you are right in praising them. When they went out of production, I discovered these pork baits. They aren't as long and are wider than the originals but they work. Dan
  10. 95% of my swimbait Bass have been caught with one of Matt's baits but here's a Slammer Bass. Dan
  11. I have a pair(forget the model) of Natives too but I prefer these Wades. I have several of the most favored, high-end sunglasses but those Wades are the ultimate for me. Dan
  12. Beautimus!!! What a great day! Kudos to you 8-) Dan
  13. DB, the King of Jigs! Another great ol' timer at Bassin! Dan
  14. WOW!!! Now that's the way to figure them out T-rig! Wind is definitely a spinnerbait's friend. Dan
  15. Did you try superglueing them back on or anything? If the wings just fall off its not that big of a deal if they are still in one piece..? No Mike I didn't. I threw them away.
  16. Where is "up north"; north Florida.....??? Dan
  17. From another ol' 'jarhead', Welcome to BR! I was born-n-raised in South Florida many moons ago but never got to fish the Big O. Dan

  21. Thanks guys. T-rig: No, it's a Tiemco Bass Mania TANK 50 popper. I do have a couple of Sugois too. BB: After downloading your pic onto your album in photobucket.com or another site, you can just copy and paste it here. Dan
  22. Not for me...... :-/ I might be able to throw one with 4 lb line on a spinning rig but the wind will catch them and.....I don't use spinning tackle They are realistic looking but the ones I had were fragile and I didn't try them for more than 3 or 4 casts and not one strike plus, one or more 'wings' broke off :. Dan
  23. Gorgeous Bass young man!!! Dan
  24. Good catchin' FM and Congratulations on your new PB!!! Might want to capitalize "God" though and not just "Chatterbait". Dan
