I got 2 Revo S's off the flea market that are Lh Next time I'll leave my sx home and just use my southpaw reels to get usued to it. All my spinning reels are Lh but it feels weired setting the hook with my casting gear set up Lh.

I tried going lefty recently and man does it feel awkward. It felt fine in the house but throwing a bait and bringing in fish was a whole nother ball game. I felt like I shoulda had a drool bucket to go with the way I felt and looked using the thing. I forgot how to set the hook it seemed or it was just to different. I did manage 4 bass using my LH Revo but I missed about 10. How long did it take you guys that switched to get into that groove with lefty models. I would like to use my LH reels for flipping and pitching or other techniques where the bite can come fast so there is no delay from switching hands.

Noah can't quite cast yet he's the same it's either all or nothing he has a tendency to spin for some reason an gets all tangled up in it. I was shocked to see him flipping yesterday. He was asking for some of my crankbaits yesterday. His other new thing is " I gotta tell you something"

Northerns do this to me ALL the time they claimed a whole pack of rage toads last spring in a 10minute span.

I'm definitely nipping the swearing I told the wife last night on our way home from my mothers I'll be damned if my kids grow up to be disrespectful little *** like most kids these days swearing and telling people off thinking they deserve everything. He's in the "show you something stage" as well usually it's to come look at his poop before he flushes it lol. We can't go to walmart with out him saying he wants to show me his jeep and camo for deer hunting. He thinks he's getting another power wheels and new camo for hunting. He's picking up reading the water to from the 2 times we went this week. Yesterday he kept moving his bobber to the rock pile right next to the bank because we caught 4 sunfish from there the first day. He was working up and down the bank flipping pretty much. He would grab the line pull it out of the water walk around till he seen a big rock pile or log and flip his worm and bobber in there a few timed then repeat as he walked down the bank. He caught 7 sunfish and a goby this way all on his own.

Every day he does something new that I haven't seen or heard sense iv been gone. Tonight he laid down on the couch and just like the wife always says he flopped his feet on my lap and demanded I rub his feet lol. He's also picked up some Uhm colorful language I had a talk with his mother about let's say it rhymes with that other trucker.

My wife made the "joke" of saying if she got pregnant while I was home on leave that I have 4 months left and I would miss the worst part of the pregnancy with all the mood swings from the pregnancy hormones.

Jack my youngest is cutting a tooth right now I'm ready to pull my hair out lol I wish the wife would let me do the whiskey trick but she wont. Noah is sitting next to me asking what I'm making referring to this post

Yup unfortunately it's usually the big ones that have the light don't notice em strikes iv found. Don't get me wrong the big girls will blow up on a frog but most the time when them light little strikes happen it's always seems to be big ones.

My 3 year old is in what I'm calling the why? Stage. How long does this last lol. Every this is followed by "why daddy?" Last night I had to brake for a deer in the road and it spawned all kids of why? Why do deer move at night, why do deer live in the woods, why do coyotes eat deer, what do deer eat, what do coyotes eat, why do they eat mice, what do mice eat. It went on and on and on for 30 minutes on the way home from walmart. Even fishing today why do the fish like the rocks why do they eat worms why why why. How long do they stay like this I'm afraid this is one of them long term stages not that it's a bad one other then constantly explaining how and why everything works.

I recently switched over to all tungsten for bullet weights. I found a good deal at DSG last fall that had true tungsten weights for .99 a pack so I cleaned house. I just bought a decent lot of them also off eBay for 20bucks for like 50 weights I think it was.

I think think that breaking issue was in that first run of rods and mostly due to user error or neglect. I got mine when they first came out I have definitly neglected mine but it has yet to break on anything not even getting closed in the car door.

yeah the red cross message wasn't gonna get me home they were very very vague so I wrote a letter to my commander painting him the full picture and they got me home ASAP. Idk how well the fish off will work I don't have my own ride for this time home cant make any long trips sorry. I did make it out the other day with my wife and son got a bunch of sunfish and went out alone last night 3 bass and 2 northerns nothing worth bragging about biggest bass was maybe pound pike were 20".

haha same here I'm home on leave as many of you know and I get my son misses me but d**n it sleep in your own bed its been a LONG time lol. I get to fish alot almost everyday so nothing really keeps me from that not counting this deployment. I'd like to get back into playing tournament paintball and building hot rods again but money definitely stopping me there.

My son went fishing with me 2 days ago he caught a few sunfish. He wont lip fish either he will hold em all day long doesn't mind getting poked by the spines. He loves throwing them back in. My oldest turned 3 in may this is hes second summer fishing he just got a new "dock demon" spinning combo from Walmart and his own mini box with hooks and split shots in it. My youngest just turned 1 exactly a week ago he wont fish till next year though I was spooling my new revo's this morning and he grabbed the other combo and ran off with it the little **** lol.

Haha sounds good. We made it out for a little bit today got a bunch of sunfish and rock bass. I just spent the last 3 hrs organizing all my new lures I got I filled up 8 more boxes 6 were 3700 size and then 2 gallon bags full of ragetails. Dusting off and spoiling up the new reels in the morning after taking my oldest out again he was upset the wife came with us so I promised him it could just be me and him in the morning.

I have the 7'6. MH I use for flipping an pitching jigs and plastics I absolutely love it. I have mine paired with a RevoSX and 50lb pp I'm probably gonna throw one of my new S models on it tomorrow actually.

Everythings good she's on antibiotics and out of the hospital. She has a giant hole in her leg but it looks good as in healing good. I'm taking my oldest out tomorrow he got a new pole and some hooks and stuff he's estatic im home and bugging me to go fishing. It's definitly nice being home again my boys have grown so much.

Well they came in at 1615 yesterday said get into civilians and grab your bag. I was at Kuwait city airport shortly after that and after a long 13hr flight I'm in Washington dc waiting to board ny flight to buffalo.
