each DSG is different if i go into Buffalo and go to the galleria mall DSG they have a huge section for fishing and hunting its half the upstairs floor of DSG and they always have tons of stuff on clearance year round and a wider selection of rods and reels. Now if I drive 10 minutes down the road to any of the other 3 in the area they all will have something different and different sales. My wife hates it when we go out there because I will stop at every DSG the one on transit rd the one on the blvd and the one in the big mall then I go to gander mountain when I swing out to the Blvd lol and occasionally Orvis too. Its a good thing BPS didn't go in like it was supposed to id probably have more stuff then I already do lol.

well floating with a hook would be good that's what I want I fish the luck "e" strike worms weightless like a top water they sit on the surface perfectly flat and when you twitch them they curl and coil up and bass destroy them but there hard to find and can only buy them in kits so I want to make them. I did read that on there to at TU about different brands and all the recipes and people have "cook books" for there molds. I have ideas also just from brain storming to make some smaller swim baits and craws I love carving wood id get into crank baits but idk about ballasts and everything else for wooden cranks but I could def make some wooden masters of soft plastics to pour. One thing I didn't see on there was how many pours you can get out of a resin or POP mold. I just want to make stuff for my self not mass produce for sales just make like 50 or so at a time if that. The most and first things I want to make is them worms and copy a fluke maybe a craw trailer if I find one i like but I doubt it because I'm used to Rage Tail so I'll just keep buying those.

iv spent the last 3 hours on TU reading all I can on pouring baits. Boy am I in trouble if I start doing this I'm pretty crafty and got some neat ideas for one of a kind baits not just copy and paste of other baits.

Look at all the brightly wrapped and painted bass boats all shiny and glittery and bright. I don't pay any attention to what color I wear fishing what ever I have on I have on usually a black, gray, or white t shirt most of my shirts are them 3 colors I don't like wearing bright shirts in general any ways.

yup gas masks can be had off line for like 20-100 bucks for a cheap one AR15 low models can be had for 700 shotgun 150-400 pistol anywhere from 300-1200. they were probably all budget guns the most expensive was probably the 4-5k rounds of ammo they said he had thats the hardest to stock pile without a huge wad of cash.

I'm the same way my BC gear is RH and spinning is lefty now my wife and nephew are opposite spinning is RH and casting is LH . I did just pick up Two LH Revo S's time will tell when I get to use them in the spring. I'm ambidextrous though so I think i will like it I can write with my left, shoot with my left(and still hit what I'm aiming at) I can pretty much do anything left handed that I can right I'm just right hand dominant. What I'm really interested to see with them is I cant fish a jerk bait on casting gear to save my life it feels awkward twitching with my left and not my right so i throw them on spinning gear maybe with lefty BC gear i can use them.

I read he came from a upper class family and was a "budding" Scientist and pretty brilliant so. Plus it doesnt take a operator to walk into a crowded movie theater and do what he did a blind man could probably have done it the theater was packed. Making bombs also not rocket science it doesnt take much to make a pipe bomb and you can find anything on the internet.

no they don't snap pack there not elasticy at all there kinda "foamy" feeling and when they rip u can almost see like tiny itty bitty air bubbles

How would you pour a floating worm like the Luck "E" Strike floating worms found in wal mart. Is there a special type of plastic used for it or do you just not add salt to the plastic for other lures? I have no clue about pouring baits just looking into trying to make my own molds after reading some other threads seems like it could be fun and addicting and relatively low start up cost as I have gallons and gallons of fiberglass resin in my garage from when I used to build custom car interiors. All I would need is plastic to pour right I have tools and supplies to make the molds and a old microwave actually.

I do the same thing but I keep them in gallon ziplock bags and on the 2 side pouches of my bag I probably have 50bags of plastics at any given time mostly Rage tail and flukes

I do when I'm home I don't necessarily like it because there's not enough room for my wife too but this is a family site so i'll leave it at that lol. I do sleep better though my couches are like sleeping pills soon as I'm on the couch its lights out and will sleep all night and day and a good deep sleep I love it.

That whole incident pretty much made up my mind on getting a tactical rifle and and shotgun for the home and carrying pistol everywhere. The whole thing is just sick I sat at the chow hall and watched it unfold on CNN the guy even turned him self in they should fry him but they wont he will sit and rot in prison sucking up more money then hes ever been worth. He should be expedited right to the front of the line for the death sentence and have it carried out maybe by firing squad using a small caliber low power bullet shot repeatedly so its slow and painful seems fitting and fair to me. This isn't gonna look good for gun owners either this is more ammo for anti gun groups even though he bought all his guns and gear legally. I already heard all kinds of numbers and anti gun talk on CNN about the whole thing. I think every one should carry look at crime rates where there's little gun restrictions low crime then look at DC, NYC, Chicago no guns and tons of crime who would you rather go against if your a criminal some one you know is unarmed or some one who may be carrying its a no brainer.

What weight sizes do y'all throw the most? I'm trying to stock up on stuff and iv noticed I have like every size weight on my list of stuff to order but then I got thinking do I really need a weight in every single size. Do you guys find that you mostly throw like 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 1oz weights or do u really use all the in between weights like 5/8, 7/8, 3/16 i mean heck the difference from 3/16 to a 1/4 could be a thicker coat of paint is there really a need for all kinds of different sizes. What are your guys thoughts or what do you carry I'm thinking I can get away with like 4 weights the 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 1oz. jigs i still buy alot of 3/4oz nut not much 1oz and I don't do alot of finesse but that's the biggest thing I want to pick up doing so i can see maybe going like 1/8 and 1/4 oz weights there like drop shot and shaky head.

These are good rods for the money it was my first casting rod I still have it though It doesnt get used much sense I got my Veritas. Another option is look on ebay there are several stores that sell on ebay for a very discounted price the Abu Veritas goes for 79.99 BIN and Vendetta's are 59.99 BIN usually.

the three I'm most loyal too are Abu Garcia, Rage Tail, and Terminator. I guess I'm pretty loyal to Gammy hooks but I'm looking to try out Owner and Moaner hooks. Everything else I just buy what ever a good 90% of my jigs are All Terain Tackle but im gonna be doing a big order soon in the coming months of Sieberts and Northstar. I don't have a lot of cranks or much of anything else other then maybe frogs but I got almost every brand of frog.

with stuff like what just happened in Colorado I'd carry every where I could. Look at area's with few gun restrictions low crime because you never know who's packing. Then you have all these cities and states with tight gun laws not letting you carry and they have the highest crime rates in the country because the bad guys know no ones packing and its easy pray. And raider if your ever in a fire fight on the water where u need that much ammo or use that much everyone involved would need some range and shooting fundamentals time holy crap your 50 rounds shy of a full combat load for a rifleman in Afghanistan or Iraq.

I know really lol I don't even think iv owned 36 rods in my life and iv been fishing sense I was 2 that's 23 years lol iv owned maybe 15.

It seems like that on EVERY forum i belong to both paintball forums, here, and the 2 predator hunting forums I belong to. I think it just has to do with authority no one likes authority figures in most cases. I will say though of all the forums i go on this one is by far the best and with the best moderators they actually interact with posts and share there knowledge. J Francho has taken me fishing a few times before this deployment Glenn is always doing his video's the mods all do a great job with this site there rarely if ever negative there's a few negative posts but its very rare. All the other forums I frequent the mods only post when they are playing "cop" all they do is throw warnings and threats around but not here this site everyone is treated like family. Heck Long Mike has been taking the time helping me tweak my resume IMO all the mods here go above and beyond. And no im not brown nosing either

20Ga rifled slug gun. I hunt a shotgun only county and downgraded from a 12ga to a 20 I see it more as a upgrade honestly shoots flatter and farther which equals less hold over more accuracy. If they ever make rifles legal in my county which there's talk it may happen for the 2013/14 season it will go from my 20ga to my .243 same reasons flatter trajectory and better ballistics which equals better accuracy that and I can thread a needle with my .243 so a 87-100gr will more then do the trick.

I usually night fish a couple times a year for catfish or walleye. Chicken liver for the cat fish and smithwick jerk baits for walleye. I'v tried night fishing for bass with zero success so I don't bass fish at night iv caught a few like in the first 30 minutes of sun down but thats it.

hmmm it seems like a neat concept I may try it out idk though if I do it wont be till winter when I'm home so I can see what comes in the box rather then do it for months to find out its not worth it.
