that's one thing iv been hesitation on because there's all kinds of Revo MGX's on there for 250 or so when they retail for 100 more something hasn't seemed right but they all have great feedback.

Nope not on my way home just sitting waiting for "approval" right now its up to one man a colonel way way way above my pay grade but he has no reason to say no especially with every other stop before him has given it the go ahead. My bag is packed my paperwork is done everyone is notified just waiting for that one guy to say go and I'll be off. Even once I get the go ahead it takes a few days to get back there giving me 2 weeks though.

That's what happened you threw all the fundamentals of BC out the window throwing a hail marry to get it a little farther to some lilly pads. Forcing a hard cast is almost a sure fire birds-nest just use your normal smooth casts one nice fluid motion you can still make far casts but you need to know your rod/reel and your own limits. I wouldn't blame the Revo as you said all was good till you tried for that extra long cast.

well as it stands right now my Company Commander gave it the ok the battalion commander gave it the ok so now its up to the top guy the colonel of all of us here in Kuwait. I have a meeting with the S1 about going home in 15 minutes and was told to pack a bag so hopefully they send me home. My wife signed her self out yesterday sick of the hospitals and the armys bs so she could take care of the kids but now shes just right back in there I guess she blacked out. I'm sure everything will be fine thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers.

I have one and one is where I will stay I have no ambition to get any more shimano's unless there spinning reels MAYBE. I will say I do like my Citica it gets used as much as my Revo SX does just as a soft plastics reel and the Revo is my jigging and flipping set up they are great reels for the money especially when u get them at 50bucks or less like the OP and my self as well as many others here if I remember correctly.

Well our company commander as he put it said "I'll go to bat for you with the big guys just give me ammo to present them" so I wrote a letter and so did my mother explaining the situation because the hospital and red cross have been no help what so ever they have been called several times and they keep saying the same thing "its out of our hands its not life or death situation". My entire chain of command is backing me on this and want to send me home for as long as needed and still be able to return to duty. I'm pretty good at blocking stuff out to do my work here I mean today I was at the very front ECP checking cars and ID's coming onto post didn't even think about it really other then when i seen my CO and 1st Sgt pull up i was hoping it was to take e back to pack a bag but they were going to lunch at another base lol. Everyone here is helping out pushing it so I can get home the only one not helping is my team leader but hes a POS anyways.

The army has no logic what so ever. I'v had some Issues arise at home and am trying to get emergency leave because my wife has been in the hospital for 3 days now and will continue to stay there for an unknown time. My wife had a abscess under her tooth a month ago and had surgery on it now shes in the hospital with MRSA and Cellulitis normally not a big issue but its been spreading and she went into septic shock Monday which is what landed her in the hospital in the for this long stay. Now my kids don't have either parent and my wife's leg is basically eating itself and covered with sores as her BP drops and white blood cell cant climbs there keeping her longer. My oldest son is showing signs of staph/MRSA as well and is being brought in. there is no one home to watch my kids 3 and 1 today the 1st was his birthday they are being baby sat by a 11 year old who shouldn't be left alone her self let alone 2 baby's. The army and red cross doesn't see this as a problem and are denying my emergency leave to take care of my kids and wife till she recovers. This is all after they just sent a guy home cuz his wife is cheating on him that was E leave, another guy went home cuz his wife dislocated her shoulder he got e leve for 2 weeks to help her and they have no kids and another who returned yesterday just hd 2 weeks e leave for his wife's gal bladder surgery because she needed help with there kids. Yet I'm being denied I don't think it makes any sense my wife is actually being hospitalized for a length of time and needs the help let alone my kids are in the care of a 11 year old is our only option. It makes no sense what so ever so iv appealed it and my CO and 1st SGT are behind me 100% and taking it to the top for me sense the red cross fell short on it and refuses to do anymore claiming its "out of there hands now" Am I wrong for thinking the way I do it seems everyone here agrees with me and thinks I deserve it and need to go be a parent maybe were all wrong and just sick of the piles of BS that seems to be dumped on us here.

My Nephew hooked a nice 5lber threw the eye some years ago in a private 20acre pond we fish. We have caught one eye joe as he maybe she has gotten the nick name at least once every year always in the same area hes well over 7lbs now and pushing 8. They just adapt and live on.

I agree with you here and I'm very pro gun. With that said I still don't think these should be illegal though where I live it is illegal however. Thats just my taste though I don't own any tactical weapons I can do more damage with my hunting rifles then any AR or AK could ever think of. I may buy one in the future but its not the top of the list the AR platform I want to build will never see more then 5 rounds loaded at once and would be to long and heavy to carry around like I'm on a swat team. Hi cap mags should be legal but not to hunt with as they are in most states and I think they should be limited to range time unless SHTF and there is a zombie Apocalypse lol. If some one owns a AR or AK and they have 30 rnd mags great take em to the range and practice learn the ins and outs of the system and how to do SPORTS when it jams. I don't think anyone needs to be carrying around full battle load outs when they carry, 1 mag in the gun and 1 reload would be more then plenty should you ever need to draw it I highly doubt your going to get into a long drawn out fire fight.

Yeah I love hunting and fishing for just that getting out and clearing my head I use it to relax/unwind, calm down, and to celebrate. I'm not sure about NE Ohio but most hunting is closed in December other then some small game and like a week of muzzle loader for deer. I usually start my coyote hunting in December when there's deer carcasses everywhere i set up on them and wait em out no sense calling usually with all that food for them.

for 500 you can get a hell of a combo shotgun DSG and gander both usually have there big gun sale early fall and 870 in either 12 or 20 with a bird barrel and cantilever or deer sight barrel for about 350-500 depending what model and finish you want and what sale they have going. just a cantilever barrel alone is 250-300! I had one on my 11-87 I loved it I shoot my 870 20ga 200yards now with open sights and shoot 6.5" groups from standing position.

I just drag footballs on the rocks some spots I fish in the river behind my house the currents pretty good so I'll cast past the the swift part and drag into the current so it sweeps the jig up and let it do its thing works like a charm. In calm water I just drag it up over what ever rock or wood is there slightly pausing when it makes contact giving it a shake then I give it a small lift/pop and let it fall off of what ever it was and that's when the strike comes if not after giving it the little shake. I only fish footballs and swim jigs 99% of the time I have others I just don't use them. What your describing kind of reminds me of Ikes video a few years back when he talked about "stroking" a jig.

Best long term investment would be a Rem 870 12ga or 20ga id go 12ga even though I personally run a 20ga. There is nothing you cant do with a 870 12ga and 2 barrels and a few chokes. Slugs and you got bambi slayer and enough umph to knock a ticked grizzly on its ass. Throw a bird barrel on it and now you got dove to coyotes covered. I like the 20ga for its flatter trajectory with slugs but its hard to get ammo for well specialty ammo. 12ga ammo is available anywhere and everywhere and much easier to find certain rounds for like in my case #4 buckshot for coyotes cant get it for a 20 without hand loads. You can get combo slug/bird guns for 300 at walmart anytime for a Mossberg 500 or DSG runs sales in the fall for Remington 870s for like 350. Bows you can use a bow for a while to but there's a new model coming out every year always taunting to get faster and better bows I used a 80s Fred Bear compound with a wal mart special sight, release,rest, arrows and broad heads i had maybe 150 invested in it and killed a good few deer with it and occasional squirrel when I felt cocky. as far as hunting specific forums Idk of many for deer I belong to a few for coyote/fox hunting though.

I think its good they guys that have Viva and Zain have little hot spots that plug in via usb to charge or Zain has one that is like a little stick antenna that you leave plugged in. A lot of guys bought sim cards for there cells and still use there cells like as if there still state side. I just use my laptop I like being out of the loop some times then other times I wish I was able to be reached like right now trying to go home on E leave because my wife is in the hospital with sepsis but i cant get a hold of anyone because of time difference and no phone waiting on the red cross.

Thanks, I know Im still doing more then what 99.5% of the rest of the country has done I just signed up for something more then this its a blessing in disguise though because I still get to talk to me kids and wife more then i would have if we ended up in Afghanistan again. I'm still actually we all are still very cognitive of whats going around no one has gotten complacent well one has but he carries a pillow and clock around everywhere lol(got caught sleeping in a tower) but I have the SOP memorized and we still catch stuff at the ECP that they try getting in or out its just dumb stuff like camera's and such not bombs and guns. They also had to re do a tower because of me speaking up saying the 240B cant traverse enough to cover the search lane or exit lane it just pointed at a ditch not any more though shes set to go if anything happens but it wont. More on the subject of the shooting and all that's happening because of it is anyone following the case about the guy in MD who jokingly said some some things and the cops came and found a bunch of legally bought guns and ammo.
