  2. Better than Lucky Craft all day every day. Garnet
  3. Spend last weekend at the sportsman show and red power pro is flying off the shelves. Most are buying a spool and seeing how it fits there fishing. Had one advid ice fishing guy say at 8 ft it total disappeared on his Aqu view this lake is drinking water clear. He was using the new 5lb for white fish. I also think that our northern tanic colored lakes it might be good with red power pro. These lakes are clear and just a little darker tanic color than some florida lakes. Garnet
  4. San diego jam knot best bar none Garnet
  5. Go to a heavier jig to get the feel. Garnet
  6. I reccomemd you never use a #3 Blue fox inline spinner on a smallie lake unless you want your line strecthed Garnet
  7. 20 lb braid is a little light for baitcaster learning. So take about 25-30 ft off and tape spool run it back on this stop the backlash way down your spool. Now adjust your baitcaster for this bait and ever time you change. Pitching is look at the target and pitch. Garnet
  8. On your regular casting bass/walleye it's just a waste of money to spool all braid. A 150 yard should do 3 reels and have 3 turn arounds thats 6 fills. There are specail applications like dipsy diver for salmon and walleye were you are going down 70-80 ft and back 200ft. Downriggers is another. In our northern speckle trout lakes long line trolling is popular 2-300 ft back trolling dead slow with tiny flat fish. I'm not a salt water guy but I'v seen the show lots of application there. The manufactures will love you. Garnet
  9. Need more info theres a ton of littles that make bad. What line, rod, pitching distance, yard practice. Garnet
  10. Daiwa were bad for this I took clear silcone and filled the crack until I could get a new 1. Buy with metal pal. Garnet
  11. A common thing is boats bought at shows will be put on half the trailer needed to keep price down. I've seen axcles like bow and tires lend out. Ditch this trailer and buy right. Garnet
  12. Jig man has a good start way2slow is right this time. Get on some the old car sites and you find these old timer. My town has Independent guy been in biz sence christ was little maybe your town has somebdy like this. Garnet
  13. Just got back from our sportaman show and explained this 2 doz. times today. If you are starting new with any reel buy dirt cheap mono of the same Dia. fill spool full even fish for a day some are happier with a little less. For normal picthing casting take off 33 pulls and a pull being 3ft. thats 100ft 35 would be 110. Fill with Power Pro and any other line you like. This maintains your full spool capcity so you get the full gear ratio from your reel. Garnet
  14. I don't think hand dipped tubes went anywere. And theres a good market for custom tubes and dropshot baits if a person is good with colors. Garnet
  15. If you go on B.A.S.S. web site and read there 20 pg fish care deal they will tell you to use non iondized salt . Thats pickling salt available at any food store. Garnet
  16. I just read your whole post and I'm idiot...............what ever buddy My info is lived the nightmare with my 1993 rude and about 6 buddys that had 200's and 175's. Electrical gremlins with these motor were a thing and the common fix was throw power pack's at them. The most expensive part. Me and my buddy's learned the hard way to replace the cheapest sensor and thats the one that controls your beeper system and cuts down cylinders before the power packs. The real clue is to go thru the diagnostic procdure and if it doesn't make sence change this part and start again. Garnet
  17. Yes I go by pulls a pull being 3ft and I pull 33 or about 100ft. You are doing it right just start with 1. Garnet
  18. This is electrical and you are jumping thru 3 models from 4 years and talking piston cranks ect. good luck and hire a mechanic. Garnet I'm modifying this guys talking about 1992 200 rude. Same Motor as 200 Venom. The Ficht was not out until 1996-7 and Etec into the 2000 thats about 8 years sbread. The Faststrikes were about 1994 and up. My rude was a 1993 I just checked a bill for a power pack.
  19. I stay away from Diet Coke and do take a couple asprins for achs and pians but they also calm me. Most of my tourney are larger bodys of water and I take a smacking most days. Garnet

  21. Little pike will not bother big bass and big pike bother everbody. Just think who is eating who. I'm talking nothern pike but it will be the same foe those grass pike. Garnet
  22. You sure isn't that rude the Johnson venom if it is you check the part # they are identical. Garnet
  23. Mine was a 175 intruder with electrical ghost. It might run good and then just slow no alarms just slow. Sevaral power packs and bunch other stuff. Theres 7 sensors on that motor that are in series so tracking a problem is tough. After 4 months the cheapest sensor is the 1 that runs your alarms it was $14 and just weak enough to cut cylinders down but not bad enough to sound alarms. It's located under your dash. Garnet
  24. Mine are not that bad. It's part of the fun to control the adren. rush. After 25 years when the bite starts and I no it's performance time I hit the zone and start almost cold exacusion. And when I win another it's smoken. Garnet
