  1. That’s one thing I don’t mess with. When I hear thunder I head back to the ramp.
  2. A couple of years ago I snagged line. Turned out it was a spool of mono that someone had dropped overboard.
  3. Grammy EWG in either a 2/0, 3/0, or a 4/0 size.
  4. Nice catching!
  5. I hear a lot of people say fish shallow in the morning then fish deep when it starts getting hot. Depending on the structure and cover I do the opposite. I’ve noticed a lot of times the bass will move shallow into the vegetation for shade, cover, oxygen and baitfish.
  6. Trash. Snagging old braid that someone had to cut because they snagged. People in boats casting right in front of me. People training dogs.
  7. Congratulations on the new PB!
  8. 1/16 oz. Rooster Tail.
  9. If you're fishing around vegetation make sure your guides are clean and make sure your line doesn't have any small pieces of plant wrapped around it. That kills my distance until I can get it cleaned off.
  10. Thanks Glenn. I'm going to have to try a deep diver on the surface.
  11. The topwater bite started here around the first of June.
  12. I'll tell you what the surgeon told me about my shoulder. If the pain is in one spot it could be anything from a muscle strain to arthritis. If the pain shoots or spreads out it could be anything from a pinched nerve to some kind of tear. Best to get it looked at by a good professional that you feel comfortable with.
  13. Congratulations!
  14. I screamed like a little girl when a doe and fawn jumped out in front of me on a trail. I'd imagine that I would be hoarse for a week if a bear came up on me.
  15. Buzzbait. I want something that’s not going blend in with the sound of the rain.
  16. Around here a 4.76 is a hawg.
  17. Congrats on the new smallie PB!
  18. This is what happens when you've been quarantined too long.
  19. White, bone, or black is what I like on the bottom of the bait.
  20. I've only got one set of duplicates. It's a president spinning reel on a Daiwa procaster-s 6'6" M/F rod. 10 lb mono on both. One is used for small crankbaits, and the other for weightless and t-rigged plastics.
  21. I haven't used tubes in a couple of years now. I use to use them all the time fishing around water willows, and caught some nice largemouth bass on the 3-1/2" size.
  22. 1/8 oz. Bitsy Bug. I can pop that thing right through the coontail and hydrilla and not pick any up.
