  1. I would guess between 2 and 2-1/2 pounds.
  2. Wow that is a huge bass!
  3. I've been practicing my flipping and pitching in the backyard, and I swear I have felt a bite.
  4. .

I’d say about the 4 to 4-1/2 pound range.
  5. We've missed the flu, but my wife and I have both had bad colds this year. Hers started getting better after a couple of days and then came back with a vengeance. Luckily no respiratory infections. Hang in there and rest, get plenty of fluids, and keep warm.
  6. I like the 7'0" length because I can cast a little farther and flip farther. I spool the reel with 6 pound mono, and I've never had a problem with sunfish being line shy.
  7. I like it because the smaller weight doesn't tend to hang up like a c-rig does.
  8. I haven't seen a bug since November.
  9. It's a kick in the pants when you realize you've been fishing where the bass are located.
  10. A few years ago I stopped using a UL and went to a ML rod. I can still fish with the same baits as I do with an UL, but I have a little more backbone in case I catch a fish that has some size to it.
  11. Pflueger president. I have three of them.
  12. Ice has been off the water here since the beginning of February. Of course I got sick and couldn't fish.
  13. That's the way to stick with it. I know guys that would have moved on after the first miss.
  14. Nice going on the new PB!
  15. My oldest daughter was 4 when she went on her first fishing trip. My youngest daughter was 5. They didn't catch anything, but they had fun.
  16. I would rather have a little of both than a lot of one or the other.
  17. I tend to use what ever is in my tackle bag.
  18. Usually I use a 2/0 EWG hook. If I am fishing with a very skinny worm I will downsize to a 1/0 EWG.
  19. I usually make it out on the water sometime over the weekend. The trip may last from 5 hours to 12 hours depending on what is going on with work and family.
  20. Go with the auto. If you are going under, you may not be thinking of inflating the unit.
  21. Congratulations! Sounds like you had a real good time.
  22. Nice looking bass!
  23. I’ll be looking through my fishing logs and think that’s the trip where that bass got off. Then I’ll spend another two hours trying to figure out how that bass came unhooked.
