I use to crappie fish with 4 pound mono, but after I discovered that catfish like crappie spinners, I changed over to 6 pound line.

You have a couple of nice winter bass right there.

I know several guys that have caught hawgs while crappie fishing. Good job getting it in the boat!

This is one of the reasons that I keep a log on a spreadsheet. Some of my crankbaits have caught hundreds of fish, while others have caught less than 10. My best colors are shad, craw, firetiger, and chrome.

I have pretty good luck fishing green pumpkin around vegetation. I use the same trailers on the bladed jig that I would if I were fishing a regular jig in the weeds.

If you have only looked at 10 houses you aren't finished yet. When my wife and I bought our house we were looking for 4 months. Just look at it as being able to save up more money for the down payment.

I have always had luck fishing them around grass. The bass seem to like the darker colored Sluggo more in the water I fish.

I remember Mattel Classic Football! You would have your player sit still and when the opposing team closed in, you could just run around them to score.

I have rods from several manufacturers. However, the rods I am currently using at this moment are St. Croix, BPS, and Daiwa.

I use the stock hooks that come with the bait. If the hooks need to be sharpened then I sharpen them.

Stained is tea, muddy is chocolate milk.

Still working on it.

Brush hog, baby brush hog, and super hog are the baits I use the most.

Just received 2 spools of Big Game, and some replacement skirts from TW. My BPS giftcards are burning a hole in my pocket.

I wasn’t, but I hung around with a bunch of guys that had a garage band. Made quite a few memories.

I don’t mind the snow at all. The ice I can do without.

I grew up, and now live in the city, but always felt more at home out in the country. When I retire I want to live somewhere with some reservoirs a couple of hours away.
