  1. Nice! Like the watermelon craw, and purple craw.
  2. I have seen the lure on the left before, but I don't know what it's called. Love the price on the lure on the right.
  3. This is the reason I started making lists.
  4. Have you tried replacing the stock blade? I'm thinking punch a new hole in a blade that is off to one side instead of centered. I'm not sure if this would make it jerk from side to side or just pull to one side?
  5. Use a suspending jerkbait more.
  6. I'd go with number 2. If the replica is going is going up on the wall then the lower nameplate will be easier to see.
  7. No thanks. I have already moved on.
  8. Welcome to the forums!
  9. Nice to see someone fishing without a coat on! Nice catch!
  10. If I had been smart I would have gone online and ordered more!
  11. Some nice December bass!
  12. Couple of years ago we were fishing vertical along a deep water bluff. My back was to the bluff and it just so happened that there was a small bush growing behind me. I came back with my 3/4 jig to cast it out a little, and I snagged that bush. The bush wasn't very big so I decided just to rip it loose. When I did the jig came out and hit me upside the head. I had a nasty little lump for the rest of the trip.

I bought a bag of Z-Nails about 12 years ago that was in the BPS clearance bin. The next morning I went out pond hopping and cleaned up on bass while no one else was catching. On the way home I stopped by BPS and picked up 6 more bags. This is my last one that is still usable.
  14. I picked one, but then I forgot what I picked.
  15. If your fishing shallow, I would say buy a telescopic lure retriever. Very handy for getting lures out of sunken timber, and standing trees.
  16. Currently 12 outside now. It's not too bad as long as you have layers on, but that wind cuts like a cold knife.
  17. I use a 6’6” mh/f with a revo to fish flukes weightless. JustJames is right. The fluke casts out like a senko. They’re heavier than they look.
  18. $50 would pay for a nice dinner with the wife.
  19. If all else fails, try a very very slow retrieve.
  20. Most of the rods I use for jigs, and plastics are 6’6”. The rod I use for crankbaits is 7’0”.
  21. Around here they throw large rocks out on the ice to check how safe it is. I’d rather fish from a heated dock myself.
  22. It just cold here a few days ago. Ice won’t be thick enough to hold weight for quite some time. Of course that won’t stop some from going out on it anyway.
