  1. A lake I fish use to have a couple of beavers on it. They would build the den right on the bank. They're gone now, but the logs from the den are still there, and the bass still hang around it.
  2. If you keep using the same bait each time you fish the pond, yes, I think the bass can get wise. Especially, if you are using crankbaits.
  3. That is great!
  4. Those are some big bass! Congratulations on the PB!
  5. Nice going! Hope you had pliers with you!
  6. Depending on my reaction to my wife's plans, I might be in the doghouse.
  7. Fall. It's cooler outside, the kids are back in school, and most of the recreational boaters are off of the water.
  8. You might try going to a computer store and having one built. Usually they try and match the build to what the computer will be used for.
  9. Started photography with the Mrs. this past February.
  10. 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 ounce if I need weight. When I fish a Senko and senko knockoffs I usually start out weightless and go from there.
  11. Wow nice bass!
  12. First fishing trip since shoulder surgery. I checked my tackle, rods, reels, and boat about 3 or 4 times before I headed on the trip. After about 2 hours on the water I start looking around for the water jug and realize that I left it at home with all of my food.
  13. Good to hear! I remember doing those PT exercises and light work outs after they put my shoulder labrum back together. I use to grimace and wait for the pain to start. About 9 months later I finished working out one day, and realized that it didn't hurt. It took me a couple of days to get use to it not hurting.
  14. That stinks. Hopefully it will heal up correctly on it's own.
  15. I have a couple of the BPS squarebills. They seem to be pretty sturdy, and run straight, but I have yet to catch a fish on them.
  16. That's the way to do it! Congratulations!
  17. First time I can remember catching a fish I was about 8 years old. I got a worm, put it on my cane pole, and my Dad sent me over to some rip rap to catch sunnies for bait. My hook was in the water for about a minute and the bobber went under. I ended up catching a 2 pound channel cat.
  18. Cut grass, washed cars, shoveling snow, and taking care of dogs.
  19. Telescopic lure retriever. This thing has saved me a bunch of baits in the two years I have had it.
  20. Nice one!
  21. My mornings are quiet except for that alarm clock going off every work day! I could really do without that.
  22. Congratulations!
  23. If it's a jig I have a trailer on it.
