Most Productive Technique?......(For Numbers)
So far this year it has been a topwater bait and a jig.

Alcohol And Boating
I say no. Years ago we use to catfish from the boat and have a few while we were watching our lines. About 20 years ago we went down to LOZ during the summer to go after some bass. Right there I said no more in the boat.

Rebel Pop R
A Pop - R in chrome / black is about the only popper I use anymore.

Jig Trailers
All the time. Super hogs are one of my best trailers. When they get too beat up to use on a t-rig, they go on the back of a jig.

You Are Hung In A Tree? Pull Up To The Bank And Get It Or No?
If I can get the bait back I will.

Fishing Bridges
I tend keep my distance from pilings in water with a heavy current. They can really cause some serious damage if you bump one hard enough.

Ever Lost A Rod?
Almost had a catfish pull a rod into the lake one time. I did a dumb thing and just laid the rod on the bank, but I got to it before it went in the water.

Favorite Soft Plastic?
As long as they catch bass I like all of them.

Real Frogs Bad When Frogging?
I can't throw a black Spro Bronzeye in the lilypads at one of the lakes I fish. Any frogs in those pads will come after the bait. Black is the only color I have that issue with so I don't throw it much.

Casting With One Hand
About the only time I use two hands is when I am casting a very heavy bait.

Most Versatile Lure?
Chrome / blue back lipless crankbait.

Confidence Baits...jigs Ain't On The Last.
I start off with a 3/8 jig and trailer. If I am catching bass I put on a bigger jig to see if I can catch a bigger bass. If I don't get any bites I put on a smaller size jig.

Thought I Had A New Pb
I went out for about 7 hours the other day. The LM were pretty active during a rain shower. I caught 5 in about a half hour. Then things slowed up for a few hours. Only boated two using a crankbait. All were between 1 and 2 pounds. Getting ready to leave I saw that my fluke had some weeds on it so I decided to throw it out into the lake and clean it off. Then POW something hit it hard! I was using a H/F rod for the weeds, and it was bent over. I was sure I had a new PB on the end of my line! After playing the fish for awhile I got it close enough to see it. It turned out to be a hybrid bass that weighed about 1.5 lbs. Not very big, but that was the best fight I have had all year.

Long Rip Rap Walls
If I am fishing from the bank, I fish it just like I would any other piece of shoreline. I move, cast in a semi-circle, and then move down the bank some more. If I am in a boat I try and find how far out the rip rap goes into the water. When I find it I look for some kind of structure or cover at the edge.

Well This Is A First
Well at least you didn't find it in your tackle bag.

T-Rigging In Heavy Weeds
I like using the smallest size weight I can get away with. I also like the Creme 6" worm as a bait. The worm is short enough so that it doesn't wrap around the weeds, and skinny enough to pull through the thick stuff. I also keep the profile down by using a smaller size hook. Something like a 2/0 EWG hook.

The Pros & Cons- Whats Your Favorite Lure, Whats Not?
Favorite bait is probably a jig. I have never used one that I didn't like. Least favorite is a beetle spin. I have never caught anything on them, and that is after using them off and on for over 40 years.

Gotta Love Fishing In The Spring
Same way around here. When they are biting they will hit anything. When they aren't biting, they won't hit anything.

Quality Bass? Dinks?
Around here it's anything under a pound or under 12".

Stupid Mistake!!!!
Wow I thought you were going to say that your rod broke.

Backyard Fox
Every once in a while I will see a coyote, or a fox when I leave for work. The foxes usually take off, but the coyotes are not to worried about being seen. They just kind of put their head down and keep going on their way.

Small Weedy Lakes
If the weeds aren't too thick pull a fluke or a senko across the top and let the bait fall into the breaks in the vegetation. If there are no breaks then use a frog.
