Fishing Pressure In A City Lake
Try and see what bait everyone else is using. Then use something else. The reason I learned how to fish a jig is because hardly no one else ever uses them where I fish.

Favorite Fishing Situation
I have the lake all to myself. Just enough breeze to put a ripple on the water, but not enough where I need to use the anchor. Fishing a deep creek bed with a lot of timber around using a jig or frog.

Do You Catch More From Bank Than Boat?
It depends on the body of water I am fishing, but usually, I catch more in a boat.

Missed Jig Bites
Around here, in the winter, sometimes you will feel one single tap, and that is all. I stop moving the bait, and if the bass is interested it will bite again in a few seconds. If I don't get a second bite, I start working the jig again.

Favorite Bait/technique For Fishing Highly Pressured Shallow Bass
Jig, fluke, or a senko. One of those three usually always works for me.

Fishing In The Grass
Is the grass matted on the surface or under the water a couple of feet? If the grass is under the water a little I would use a shallow running crankbait. If there are clumps on the surface I would try a t-rigged weightless plastic.

Fishing When It's Windy Sucks
Usually if I can get the boat anchored where I want it, and don't get backlashed from the wind I can find the bass. I just try to keep far enough away from any cover or structure so that the boat doesn't get blown into it.

It gives you a starting point.

What Trumps All?
Experience and time fished. The more time you spend on the water the better your chances at catching a hawg.

How Important Is Distance To You?
Some of the lakes I fish have very heavy fishing pressure. If I am in clear open water I have to cast a pretty good distance so that the fish don't get spooked. On the other hand if I am fishing in a lot of weeds and slop I will park the boat right in the middle of it, and make casts that are 10' to 15' away.

Lure Sequence
I usually start off with a weightless fluke, jig and trailer, some kind of t-rig, and some kind of crankbait. I will change the crankbait and t-rigged plastic if I don't get bites, but the fluke and jig stay on all day.

Do You Disinfect Your Fingers? Lol
Depending on the size of the cut, I would be more worried about blood loss.

Names For Your Favorite Fishing Spots
Pee island down at Table rock. Island got the name because we had to beach the boat there to take a leak in the bushes.
