  1. Several people at work head out when trout season starts, but I prefer bass. Less crowds in the winter.
  2. Wow. that was cool.
  3. Warm clothes in the cold weather. Plenty of times I have been out on the water and a cold front comes through, or the wind picks up, and the temp drops. No fun.
  4. I have several round abu's, the newest is about 11 years old.
  5. It depends on where I am fishing, and what my gut tells me.
  6. I would use a t-rig, or swim a jig just off of the bottom.
  7. Good luck and have a safe trip!
  8. Good going!
  9. I consider a hawg to be a hawg where ever it is caught.
  10. I used shakey heads last year and found that they were a pain to use in the cover tbat I like to fish. Had much better luck with t-rigs in the weeds.
  11. 1/2 ounce rat-l-trap, and a 1/2 ounce Cordell spot. That is about all I use.
  12. A large deluxe pizza. I could eat pizza every day.
  13. Hot and black. Usually two or three cups in the morning.
  14. My Mom use to make these cookies, and one of the ingredients was Ammonium carbonate, the stuff that goes into smelling salts. Not only did you want to spit these out, but they gave off a terrible stench.

Couple of years ago my local Walmart had Cordell Super Spots on sale for $1.50. Bought four of them in chrome with blue backs. Three of them are still unopened.
  16. Purple, black, green, or brown Super chunks.
  17. The only one of their soft plastics I use on a regular basis is the Stik-o. They catch fish, and they don't tear up as quick as a senko. I did have some issues with their flukes a few years back, so I tend to stay away from those now.
  18. Abu 5600 C3 held the one I caught without problems.
  19. It depends on the size of the fish. If it's a dink, then I want to get it in, and get it off of the hook as soon as possible. If it's a good size bass, then I play it.
  20. Nope. Not yet. Between work and family issues, it may be a while.
  21. Over the counter license costs $12.00. Online it costs a couple of bucks more. What I have done the past few years is get my permit from BPS and use my gift cards to pay for it.
  22. Good luck on the new job! Never burn your bridges, you might have to retreat someday.
  23. My hook sets are actually better at night with a top water. I think its because I can't see the fish bite, but I can feel it when it's pulling.
