  1. Never seen plastics rigged like that before. I always learn something new on this site.
  2. Over the past couple of years I have gotten away from using snaps for everything. Now I only use them for crankbaits, and that is only when I know the fishing will be tough and I will need to change out baits quickly.
  3. I love finding a hole in the weeds and then punching right through it to the bottom of the lake.
  4. I have used their chuggers, wakebaits, and plastics with no problems. I don't use their jigs any longer. There are other jigs out there that are better for the money.
  5. Good going! Way to handle the cold.
  6. The day I caught my PB I was throwing out a jitterbug and starting the retreive as soon as it hit the water. My reasoning behind this was that my partner was using a buzzbait and had caught 3 or 4 in the first 15 min that we were at the lake. With no bites I decided to change it up a little. When I threw out the jitterbug, I just let it sit there for about 10 seconds. When I moved the rod tip the bait turned toward me and POW, new PB.
  7. One time we were cat fishing off of the bank around some rip rap, and I was using one of my bass rigs. I put it down on the ground and it started going out into the water. As I was running over to it, I really banged up my knee on a rock. It was swollen with fluid for two weeks, but I did save my rig from going in the lake.
  8. Not unless my wife is hiding it from me.
  9. - when you can remember the exact details of your PB, but you can't remember your wedding day. - when you get your daily salt intake by licking your fingers after rigging a soft plastic bait.
  10. Hot tea, lemon, and a teaspoon of honey.
  11. No contest at all. I would go fishing.
  12. I have had a lot of good luck with a spro's bronzeye.
  13. No purchases yet, but I am putting together a nice little shopping list.
  14. It had to be when I was fishing along a rock wall a couple of years back and the electric motor quit on me. I don't think that I have ever moved so fast to crank up the gas motor and back up before the wind pushed me into the rocks.
  15. More snow and cold weather came in last night. Nuts.
  16. Wow, thanks for sharing that. Glad you are ok.

I usually just get down a pack of hooks from one maker and compare them to the same size hooks from another maker. Then I compare both to the plastic I want to throw.
  18. Looks like your off to a good start for the year!
  19. Good going!
  20. That video brings back some memories that I would rather forget.
  21. Oh wow that looks good! No I have not had breakfast yet.
