  1. I usually just t-rig it.
  2. I have never used them on a shakey head, but over the years I have noticed that the Creme scoundrels will float if they don't have too much weight on them.
  3. Different shades of crawfish, firetiger, and shad.
  4. I can't get over the pic. That thing is big.
  5. Wow! Good looking bass!
  6. I use to carry a little of everything. Now I carry two types of baits. For shallow water I use 1 minus cranks, and for mid range and deep water I use lipless baits. To get them down deeper I just let them sink more.
  7. I buy lures that I have heard positive reviews on. If I have luck with it I will go back and buy more of them. I have never bought a lure just because a pro has endorsed it.
  8. Maybe it was because of the heat and the drought, but last year I did a lot better on hard baits than with plastics. That said, the plastic I had the best luck with was a Zoom Super Hog.
  9. IMHO, you may get a lemon no matter which reel you buy, but I would go with Abu.
  10. Welcome to the forum!
  11. Went to a KISS concert back in 77, or 78. This was back when they wore makeup. I think the last concert I went to was Shania Twain back in 99.
  12. No contest. I would rather fish any day.
  13. Jigs, spinnerbaits, and lipless baits work pretty well in the spring for me.
  14. My daughter got me a pack of pink flukes for father's day a couple of years ago. I guess I am going to have to dig them out and give them a try.
  15. Contact your church and see what programs they have set up.
  16. The Mo. conservation dept. puts carp in a lot of the lakes to control the weeds. If you cast a bait into a school of them it looks like a cattle stampede when they take off.
  17. All I can say is WOW!
  18. That reel looks sharp.
  19. A couple of high schools around me have classes that teach about the enviroment. One of the class activities is going out on a lake for a day fishing.
  20. My Mom had a parakeet when I was small. That was enough for me.
  21. I have never punched with them either, but they are good on split shot rigs.
  22. $12.00 for resident, trout stamp is $7.00, and a white river border permit is $10.00. I believe that residents over 70 yo do not need a fishing permit.
  23. Well not in so many words. She said that I needed a vitamin D supplement. I took that to mean get out in the sun and fish.
