  1. Good job in the cold weather!
  2. Good Job on the 1st of the year!
  3. When I bought mine at BPS, the salesman told me that the President was their #1 selling reel.

  5. So I guess you guys won't be wearing your flip flops for a couple of days?
  6. Hot dogs. Cook them before I leave and put them in a thermos to keep them hot. Put the hot dog buns and mustard in the cooler with the ice water.
  7. I like to work jitterbugs around cover that is up out of the water. They also work good if you bring them across a deep hole that is surrounded by weeds. I'll throw a frog right in the middle of slop and bring it back slow and loud. Flipping and pitching frogs under trees and bushes works well also.
  8. I use 1/8 oz. jigs when there is a lot of weeds and grass. I also like to use them in water that is shallow.
  9. I don't throw them as much as I use to, but I still fish with them.
  10. I have 15 lb on all of my bc reels, and 10 lb on my spinning reel. I have 6 lb on the ultralight and probably won't use it more than a dozen times this year.
  11. I try and stick to natural colors as much as possible. Greens, browns, blacks, and blues.
  12. I have seen a large population of sunfish tear a senko apart in nothing flat. I refuse to pay $10 to $15 for a lure. There are a lot of less expensive baits that work just as well.
  13. 1. Never 2. I fish where I can control the boat from. If the boat has a TM mounted in front, then I will be in the front. If the TM is in the back then I will be in the back of the boat.
  14. Same issue here. If that jig head gets behind a rock, you can kiss that bait goodbye. If you do manage to get the bait back in, you will have to retie because the line is torn up. I use a t-rig with a bait that could be used as a trailer. Something like an ultravibe speedcraw.
  15. One more vote for the darker one. Those look amazing.

  17. We have expanded cable. Over the past year, the cable co. has dropped channels. Two or three channels every six months or so. Then comes the rub. They start calling asking how we like the service and if there is anything they can do for us. We gripe about the channels we lost, and the cable rep. tells us that for an upgraded package we can have those channels back. I am leaning toward dish.
  18. Use the card for a couple of small purchases, like gas. Pay off the amount on the card completely, and put the card in the drawer.
  19. I know how you're feeling. I had my mess three years ago with my right shoulder. Insurance wouldn't pay for anything until I went to physical therapy for evaluation.
  20. I haven't really fished a lot of rivers and streams so I will say lakes.
  21. I like to use a tube. You can put a piece of foam inside them that will help keep them off of the bottom.

    Good Job on the catching!
  23. I like a snap for cranks. I tie on with everything else. Those trebles can be a pain sometimes.
