I have had alot of success with a colorado blade spinnerbait and you said it was clear so i like white skirts and gold or silver blades or a senco with a wacky rig or like he said weightless finess worms work and also try a popper or a sammy some type of walk the dog baits for topwater if the frog fails not all ponds are frog friendly. try all types of baits before giving up sometimes the ponds or lakes that are hard to fish get little presure or non at all and could be some great honey holes! let us know how it goes and what u found out to work!

man am i feeling your pain i live in ks and me and bluebasser86 had a big fishing trip planed for his wedding party which consisted of going to a hole ton of strip pits in South east kansas and my honey hole that was ur exact discription did the same thing. my body who live down there called me to break the news and i thought he was being a tom foolery until he posted pics on his facebook and talk about a kick in the junk man why does god play with us like this...

yeah i am a big fan of their baits a big fan of the one knockers and my favorite color is ghost and also love their erattic baits too aka jerk baits

well I just purchased a couple of his 1.5s and i havent used them but i do know this kvd changes all his split rings and hooks on all his baits out of the box so i hope that helps you out...

I have been fishing aba in south east ks for about a year now but was wondering if anyone knew of any others closer to kansacity ks. I know few years ago there was several in the area but now they are scarce please let me know

also if there is a fuse on the power wire check that and if you do have the same issue after changing the fuse put one size bigger and it will run on full power with out cutting out but if u have a lose connection that can sometimes cause a short but like he said check ur connections and if u have a fuse anywhere hope it helps man

yeah got to love kansas weather snow one day and 70 the next but yeah i havent had a chance to even think about a suntan just wind burnt lol but anyways nice fish.

I received mail today and dont know where or how they got my info but they sent me a decal of a bass and some other little nic nacs and they were wanting me to become a member. but it gets better i get free magazines and the membership is only a dollar a month or something. they also asked me if i would like to try a batecaster a rod and some line and also a lure and all i had to do was try them and send a questionier from using the products and i get to keep the products for free. as anyone else i was like man thats nice and maybe too nice so i looked it up on google on scams and some people said they had trouble with it and i was wondering if anyone else has tried it or a member and can clear it up that it isnt a scam or it is a scam thanks and beaware.

i agree trim the weed guard down to the point when u bend it down to the book its even or a little longer by centimeters and dont switch ur line to braid inless ur in heavy cover or muddy water fish can see it and she might not bite and if u do change use a mono leader lol not to bash braid i use it too. try trimming the guard and let us know what helped and also try setting the hook straight up or to the side one or the other ups the best though.

i change all my hooks to red ones out of the box i feel like ive caught alot more fish out of the box when i do so and its more of the confidence builder more then anything but thats just they way i feel. i would change them all lol but have the fun of fishing either way.

hey man just had the same feeling a couple weeks ago and me and my buddy bluebasser86 who is also on here though man we make our own shaky heads how hard can it be! so i bought the mold from doitmolds.com and plus they have videos to help show you how to and i found it pretty easy to do. we had an idea of what colors we wanted by our favorites that we already use fishing. but we went to basspro or cabelas and bought most of the skirting material that already had the band in the center. we went with some simple colors like texas craw and a PB&J and the black and blue. we went with powder pait for the heads we did brown black and a copper head color that was my favorite by far cus it was a darker tan with some green and red flake. we also bought the rattles from bass pro but you can buy all of it from doits site and they have almost anything you need but check it out look up videos on youtube.com and let me see those pretty things when your done i hope i could help you out man.

yeah to much thinking u made my head hurt lol . but they way i under stand it if u have 5 in the live well and u have a 6th in hand, on line, or in boat it is leagle as long as u release one before placeing that one in the live well or before casting. but idk about some people if i see multiple fish around my fish im reeling it then i pull in and throw at those fish before releasing just cus i dont want to scare them and if i get a ticket owell i guess. that just the way i understand it.
