REVO Spool?
The main and pinion gears are most likely interchangeable with the SX. The spool? Probably not. The winch offers the 6 pin centrifugal brake, the SX, the linear mag. You would have to remove the mag brake assembly from the SX palm plate for the Winch spool to work. Whether that's doable is questionable.

Upgradeable reel?
Revo main and pinion gears can be put onto a Pflueger Patriarch. I've done it. You'll have weight gain as the Revo's use a heavier brass main gear vs. the duraluminum for the Floogers. I've never seen a Winch apart but I'm assuming it's the same as the other Revo's so Winch gears could be transfered to an S,SX, STX reel as well as a Pflueger Patriarch (and probably a Summit). The most interesting possibility is the new Pflueger President. Definitely built on a Revo like frame, I sure the Revo gears could be interchanged as well as other parts like handles. The Presidents don't use the Pflueger style of spin on handle like the summit or patriarch and thus, interchange with Revo handles or Revo bling handles.

Re: 36V setup in a Bass Tracker Pro 18.
;D Perhaps he should tether himself to the deck to prevent that from happening. 101lbs of potential power on an aluminum boat? Sounds like a youtube video for sure.

Used all star rod??
Good price. Those make great jerkbait rods too. 8-)

putting deck on fiberglass V
You might want to go to www.Iboats.com, register and ask the question there. They have a lot of guys that have done work on the older covered V hulls and could give you tips or pointers on what to watch out for.

Bass seat pole caddy/drink holder?
I was actually thinking about the handi holdit but will mark that off the list given the reviews from others so far.

putting deck on fiberglass V
Yes you can cut the deck. The best way would be to glass supports along the sides and then attach your deck support system from that.

Brilliant marketing (sarcasm)
Around 1979-1980 I worked as a car stereo installer for a now defunct stereo chain called CMC stereo. 8 tracks were on their way out and cassettes were in. To give you an idea, it was Alpines first year in the US as a car audio company. The best system we used to install was a Alpine cassette head unit with a Fosgate Punch, 20W x 4 with Pioneer 6x9's in the rear and 6" Pioneer 3 ways in the doors. The Fosgate (pre Rockwell) had distortion specs as good as half of the Marantz, Kenwood or Technics home stereo's we had on the floor. The sound out of that little 20 watt per channel amp was incredible. Crank the audio up to hit 5 watts of real RMS power and you'd rattle the fillings out of your teeth in most cars and be deaf a couple hours afterwards.

Abu SilverMax or BPS Extreme reel
I've used both. The Extreme is a much better reel. Aluminum construction. It feels like a tighter reel and more solid than the plastic Silver Max. The only really good thing I can say about the Silver Max reels is they cast a country mile with ease.

Motor Stabilizer For 3HP
I should be working on it during the week next week. I'll post up pictures though I probably won't lake test it till the weekend of the 21-22. I'm sure there will be some adjustments on the height above the water of the outriggers. Once I get those set, I'll locktight or JB weld the lower stop nut, where it attaches to the bottom of the hanger.

Tournamet Rod Selection
There are basically two types of tournaments. Those like the BASS and BFL where the boater is fishing for the top prize and the non-boater is fishing for the top prize for the non-boaters and then there are buddy tournaments. IMO, fishing a large T out of the back of the boat is something done for the experience and the opportunity to get paired with an experienced pro for the day. Your odds of actually winning something are slim since you have no idea who you're getting paired with or where you're going to fish along with having no control over the front end of the boat. While paying for boat gas for the day is certainly expected, paying for his gas to and from the lake isn't. He's fishing that T anyway and is likely in the game on a level more than yours. He may or not be sponsored. If he wins or places in money you don't share in any of it. It's best to keep your rod and tackle to a minimum in order to keep the boat as clear of gear as possible. 4-5 rods max. A single tackle bag that doesn't require an overhead crane to load it. A buddy T is a completely different animal. You and your partner are fishing as a team. You'll probably be friends to begin with and have a game plan in place. You'll already have a idea of what and where you'll be fishing. In this case it's OK to bring more tackle and rods or share.

Motor Stabilizer For 3HP
I'll be sealing the bolt holes in the PVC with rubber washers and silicone (3M 5200). Then glue caps on the end and I'll have a 5 foot long, 4" in diameter chamber on each side. I intend to use wing nuts to tighten down the rods on the top of the brackets. That way I can remove the outriggers when trailering the boat to and from the lake and only have the brackets sticking out.

Want new reel ??
Do we really need to clutter up the rod and reel board with ALL these shimano owners complaining about their broken reels? I thought they created a Shimano fixit board due to the high traffic from frustrated Shemano owners. Take it there please.

Motor Stabilizer For 3HP
I haven't started my project yet. I stumbled across some old shelf brackets in the garage. These are heavy duty jobs. I'm thinking of bolting one side to the side of the boat and then driiling a hole through the overhang and extending threaded rods down. The PVC outrigger will be attached to the threaded rod. I should be working on that next week. Pardon my crappy photoshop skills.
