Need some ebay and paypal help
Go to paypal. Go to the resolution center and open a dispute. At this point it's merely a formality since you haven't escalated it but it tells the buyer you mean business. You will have to add all details you've done on your end up to this point along with including everything he's told you via messaging. He is supposed to respond. It usually never gets beyond that point and the seller will make good on the deal. Good luck.

heading to lake of the ozarks for the 1st time
I would think the jerkbait bite is going full swing. I start to hit the secondary points about halfway back in the larger coves. As the water bumps over the 50-53 mark, get your wiggle warts tied on and hang on. Chunk rock secondary points in general relation to housekeeping pockets can be absolutely killer. Jigs pitched into brushpiles along those same kinds of banks will also be productive. As for the crappie. They're starting their movement into the creeks to spawn. I'd be looking for brush piles around boat docks along creek channel swings in the coves in 8 - 15ft. The fish aren't always there, a group will tend to migrate in and the action will be hot for awhile then cool off. Either wait around for the next group to come in or move along. I use little tube jigs or the old reliable minnow.

abu garcia ambassadeur 2005 lp
IIRC, The palm plate rotates either clockwise or counter clockwise and comes off. You can then access the brake mechanism which is basically a dial on the end of the spool shaft. The dial pointer itself was a little hard to see IMO. Once you get that reel dialed in, it casts great.

Pflueger Summit Advice
I've got 2 Summits which I only got to use towards the end of last season. I have zero complaints. Very lightweight, dual braking, nice spool size in the LP version. Keep your eye on Ebay, you can regularly find them for around $100-110 NIB.

They'd make a good backup. I owned a couple of them a few years ago. Great casters. The braking system is a little strange. Sort of like the BPS ITB used on the Extremes. You have to remove the side plate to adjust it. Overall a decent reel that held up well for a graphite frame model. Has a flippin switch too.

Permantly Bent G. Lomis rod
You're opening the clubface on the ball causing that slice. Try slowing your backswing and keep your hips in alignment throughout the downswing. That should close the clubface and straighten out the shot.

St Louis
St Louis is not particularly blessed with many decent lakes within 100 miles of the city. In missouri Perry county lake, just off 55 in Perryville. Simpson lake just east of Valley Park. Not sure how the bass fishing has been since last years March floods. The boat ramp sucks. Illinois Washington County

Questions about buying my first boat?
$5,000 will buy you a whole lot more aluminum boat that's newer than it will fiberglass. My insurance on my 18 1/2 ft Champion w/150hp motor is around $14 a month.

PS3 Hdmi cables
There are different versions of cables. There are some incompatibility issues, mostly with Sony TV's and some of the versions of cables.

What covers your boat?
I've got a boat cover with a tarp over the top of that. Has always kept the cover and boat dry and clean. I change the tarp about mid summer and put another on as my season ends around December. At around $24 bucks a pop, you can buy a whole lot of tarps for what one of those tarp type shelters will cost.

Good baitcasting rod for topwaters
I use an All Star Titanium 6'6" Light, extra fast action rod. Zell Rowland special. They make the same rod today in the TAS or Platinum series rods. Don't let the light action fool you. The rods are perfect for throwing a multitude of topwaters and they make a great jerkbait rod too.

BPS Baitcaster..Worth it to Upgrade..???
Maybe listening to anglers. "These Johnny Morris signature reels are nice but they're sorta big and weigh a lot. I wish someone would make one lower profile and lighter."

Wife called me from work today
Life must be nice. My wife called me today too. She bent over in the shower to pick up the soap and pinched nerve in her back. Had to go home and take her to the doctor because she could barely walk. After that, there was something wrong with the dog. Turns out she was passing bladder stones. she's got a bunch of them. $400 later and I'm back home. Wish I was going to Hawaii. :-[

REVO Spool?
So by putting the linear mag brake assy on the S reel you basically ruined it. Good job on the SX reel. Now it'll cast like a reel should cast.

Yamaha Trim Gauge Question (Answered)
Probably one of the most useless instruments on a dash.

Nitro NX 882 SC?
A few things. A 9 year old boat is not old. A 15 + year old boat is getting old. 2nd, better check the USCG plate rating that's on that boat. IIRC, the 882's may have been rated for a 150 only. 3rd. Check the crossmembers on that trailer. Specifically, poke into them at various points on the underside. Those tubular frame Nitro trailers were known to rust out from the insides on the crossmembers. 4th. That boat typically sold for around $20k on their package deals new. I think 12K is a little high for that boat. 5th. The Merc was a good motor. Have it checked by a pro though.

switch panel wiring
The pump motors need to be on the 10 amp breakers. The lights on the 5. No inline fuses are needed if the circuit is on a breaker.

How to Roll Cast a baitcaster or Spin?
He's the guy to learn from. I used to be able to wrist roll cast the same way but with Carpal and tendon damage my wrists just don't work right anymore. Most of the times I try it now I have no idea where the lure is going to wind up. ;D

Most money lost during a single trip....
My boat sank once. I can't count that though since technically we got the boat to shore as it was sinking, pumped the water out and went on our way. I guess it would have to be the day my MK power drive trolling motor came off the front of the boat and sank in 40 feet of water. OK, I can't count that either because I hated that thing and losing it was the best money overboard ever. I lost 2 rods and reels once in a single day. I kicked one in that was laying on the deck and the second flew out of the boat when we were running down the lake in rough water.

What are you REALLY good at ? (OK to brag here ;-)
It's just about time to change it.

I'm good at pulling small boats in with the pole in my hands even IF the motor is running.

Jerkbait rod reel
I'm with RW on this one. Jerkbaits draw the fish to them with the action/noise of the jerks but once that fish is within sight distance I wouldn't want highly visible line hanging off the front of it. Clear line or Flouro would be best though I don't like the flouro tendency to sink. I normally use a clear copoly and have never had problems.
