  1. I only have two 90's in Bone and Loon. I have caught more fish on the Bone.
  2. That looks great!! Thanks for sharing it.
  3. Great tip!! I temp deal hadn't even dawned on me.
  4. Good tip, although wipes take up less space. On a related note...I was golfing with a friend once who had an "emergency". When he finally emerged from the woods he was missing his socks. He could have used your tip!!
  5. Lol....try as I might, I am unable edit and save the original video.
  6. Just a friendly comment that I am still having these issues. Seem to have gotten a bit worse to be honest. Using Firefox 54.0.1
  7. Just in case some of you might not know these..... Tip #1: Move your index finger away from the braid when setting the hook.....it slices fingers better than the ginsu 2000. Tip #2: When using your GoPro (mounted on the bill of your hat) to film your fishing adventures and you have the urge to relieve yourself, please turn off GoPro. It will save you some embarrassment and also save cleaning up the beverage of your choice that you just sprayed all over your monitor and computer desk after being surprised by viewing the aforementioned footage. That is all for now....
  8. Hmm...although not quite the same error as yours, I am getting the following in Firefox for about a week now.
  9. I normally just use the Fiskars safety scissors from walmart which are pretty cheap and work great. Up here the Boomerang sells for $25, but on my recent trip to the US, I snagged one on sale at Basspro for $10 and it works great and definitely more portable. For those that are interested in the Hemocuts that @J Francholinked, Sierra Trading Post has them for $8.99.
  10. Ended up with 5 rod glove covers and 3 stick jackets. Thanks for the help guys.
  11. Overstock is having a huge 4th of July sale. Booyah hard knockers and one knockers are $2.49. Selection is a bit limited but still decent for the hard knockers.
  12. Thanks for the suggestion. I see from their website they list a retailer in OKC that sells them. I will check them out.
  13. Don't have a Sail near me, but also didn't see them listed on their website. Any idea how much they are?
  14. Thanks guys. I appreciate the info. I will be stopping at Academy. @Puggz Pm sent.
  15. I am at the tail end of my time here in the US before heading back to Canada. The one thing that I have forgotten to buy which was on my list were some rod covers. I had wanted to try some TRC covers but I am only here for another week and ordering anything online won't get to me before I leave. This leaves me with the only option of buying something from a retail store. Are the Rod Glove covers my best option? I see that Academy is selling them for $4.99. I have read that most don't like the BPS ones and the ones that I saw on Cabela's website are $8.99 but not sure if they are better. Any advice and or other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
  16. Heddon Tiny Torpedo for me. Might explain why topwater is my favorite way to fish.
  17. Exactly...same laugh tho. Laff-A-Lympics among others. I feel like I am 10 again.
  18. Mine is the name of my favorite cartoon character when I was a kid.
  19. Great advice guys. I really appreciate it. I think the best option is to save up and buy a 105 and compare them as was suggested. Thanks again. Thanks for the sizing info. That puts it into perspective a bit better for me. I have 2 Curado 50e's and a core 50Mg7 and I love the size profile. I always wanted to try a Daiwa and the 105 is the one I seem to be drawn towards,

Still down south. Would be very doubtful that walmart's in Canada would carry these.

I had read this thread on Friday and oddly enough I was at Walmart last night and they had both the Shryock and Ike series of Renegades. I believe they had 6 or so different models of each. $14.88
  22. I had planned on using the reel for 1/4 to 1/2 hardbaits like jerkbaits and topwaters. When I compared the specs on both reels, the line capacity appeared to be the same at 10/110, 12/90, 14/80. I have two of the cores so was just thinking about swapping one....hmmm.
  23. Looks like this deal is active again. $2.69 for hard knockers and $2.99 for one knockers.
  24. I have been thinking on selling a Core 100mg an buying a Daiwa sv105. Not sure if this is a good idea or not. I haven't fished the 105 but for some reason I am drawn to it. Does anyone have or had both reels and could enlighten me on a comparison?
