jig storage
I just bought the Falcon jig box. I'm not 100% sure about it yet.

Good Looking Bass on the Aqua View
I am sorry to hear that Wright is going to stay around. He is going to be one heck of a player next year. As for Rush, if he actually thought of the team first and stuck around, well...he would be the first member of the Rush family who was looking out for someone other than themselves.

Treble Hooks?
I think as long as you go with one of the better brands like Gamakatsu, Mustad, Owner, or VMC you will be fine. I would avoid the Eagle Claws and any of the store brand hooks (like BPS or Cabelas)

Good Looking Bass on the Aqua View
I don't know if I would count on either Rush or Wright being back.

Favorite western movies?
I saw this one a while back, and I loved the premise of the movie. It was extremely violent, but very, very good.

Good Looking Bass on the Aqua View
Hey KU, You might not want to introduce that fish into any of your local waters. It appears to have picked up some sort of an infectious disease that causes illusions of granduer, could cause CHOKING, and in some cases could lead to a premature exit. You can usually expect those symptoms to occur during the prespawn (i.e. late March)

LEAST favorite brand
Bill Lewis rat-l-traps. I like fishing lipless cranks but the hooks on those are not sharp, and they feel cheap. I much prefer diamond shads, cordell super spots, or pretty much any lipless bait over them. Also, the Cabelas brand Auqa-glow plastics are garbage.

jigs???....dont laugh
I agree with Raul that there is no one "perfect" set up, I think you would be fine to fish these using a 6'6" to 7' Medium Heavy, fast action rod. I own a heavy action flipping stick for jigs, but unless I am fishing around really heavy cover I will still use a medium heavy stick for jigs(mostly because it's lighter than my flipping stick). The biggest thing to look for in a rod is sensitivity. As far as the reel, IMO most any reel will work. I would recommend a 6.3:1 reel to pick up line quickly. The last part is line, and this is the most subjective. Personally I would not fish jigs on anything less than braided line, or 15lb flouro to improve your feel of what the jig is doing. You can use mono, but I think you would just be frustrating yourself.

Color and Bait for Bedding Fish
I like to use the Strike King bleeding tubes in white. Why white? Because it helps me see where my lure is on/around the bed. I'm not convinced that color makes a huge difference in bed fishing because the bass see anything moving across their bed as an intruder. That's just my opinion. Now, as far as bed fishing, I don't have a problem with it as long as the bass are not already on the eggs and you can see the bluegill lined up around the bed just waiting for you to pull the fish off so they can attack the eggs. While I can certainly appreciate people's differing opinions about bed fishing I don't think you have to go out of your way to bash those that don't agree with you. When you do that you kinda start to sound a little PETAish.

St. Croix casting rods
I have a St. Croix Triumph, and to say that I was very disappointed would be an understatement. The rod is heavy, and not very sensitive. I thought it would be good with the SC name on it, but I was wrong. I currently use it only to fish spinnerbaits, and rattletraps (anything were feel in not a great factor), but I am saving up to replace it as soon as I can. If you are looking for a good rod in the same price range I would recommend the Fenwick Eagle GT, or even one of the BPS rods when they are on sale.

Looking for a new rod!!!
I have used both the Fenwick Eagle GT, and the St. Croix Triumph, and there is no comparison between the two. The Eagle GT is lighter, more sensitive, and cheaper. It is a great rod, and because of it I now own mostly Fenwick's, and I am in the process of replacing my last St. Croix. BTW if anyone wants a barely used St. Croix Triumph casting rod I'm looking to sell it.

It's finally over
I'm not sure who fed that lie to you, but let me know how that works out. No more homework = getting a job = more bills = more responsibilities = even less free time.

flippin'/pitchin' line?
I know a few people around where I fish that have went to flouro for flipping. My buddy is using 17# Seaguar Invisx and so far he really likes it. I'm giving some consideration to at least putting a flouro leader on my flipping rod when in clear water. In dirty water I think you can get away with fishing braid, but not in clear water that is heavily pressured. The last thing I would use for flipping would be any type of mono.

jigs???....dont laugh
My first piece of advice is to go out and search the articles on this site about jigs and read them. Second when you go out to fish, if you truly want to learn jigs, take only one rod and only take jigs with you. They can get very frustrating very quickly so if you only have them to fish, you will be forced to slow down and give them a good, honest try. Third, you are going to miss fish because it's not a hard, slamming bite like a crankbait or a spinnerbait. If something feels different, or if you feel a thump, or you line gets heavy, or something feels mushy on your line...set the hook. Last, don't get frustrated. It will take you most of the summer to build confidence in a jig, but once you do you will most likely prefer fishing it to anything else.

Picked up Fenwick Eagle Gt= What To Use It For?
The feel is there. I had an Eagle Gt and that convinced me to upgrade to Fenwick's top line of rods, because as sensitive as the GT was I knew there other rods had to be great....and they are.

King Shad
The only difference I see between those two baits is the ABT appears to be a 4 inch bait, and the king shad says it is a 5 inch bait.

Walk up song for baseball
A song I always thought would be awsome for a closer to come into would also work for a walkup song. It's: Chevele...The Clincher.

Shimano Compre Rod
BB, I would agree with your humble opinion.

this years chatterbait?
I've heard some talk about a bait called the senko. Not sure if it will catch on. ;D

What hook for a 6in Senko?
I apologize, I mispoke eariler. I do use 4/0 hooks, but they are not gammy's, they are the owner wide gap plus hooks. I just started using those at the end of last year and they are great for thicker baits. They have a wider gap so they can penetrate further through the plastic. I bought them for fishing fat ika's and they work well for 6 inch senkos as well.

What hook for a 6in Senko?
That's the exact hook I use with a 6 inch senko. Strange that you were missing the hook set.

baitcaster and braided line
If you already have mono on the spool, there is no reason to waste it. Peel off enough of the mono so that there is about 40-50 yards still on the spool. Tie the braid directly to the mono and fishing filling your spool with braid.
