  1. Andy, its always hard. I am sure Deisel spent many good days at your side. Sorry dont cover it, but its the best I got right now. I hope things get better!
  2. oh, and yes a new WR will be caught, but No it will not be caught in Merica.
  3. thats a very solid price! thats basically what I sold mine for a few years ago when I made the jump to TPs. here is the limits I use if a guy was going to get Lews. do not pay more than this: SS: $70 tournamnet : $85-90 TP: $130
  4. I am not proud if it, even though if feels good at the time, but I have made a few employees and the random customer service agent cry before too....
  5. if you got my PM in time, you could have had a TP for $133 shipped! the TP is SOOOOOOOOOO much better of a reel than the tournament , IMO
  6. why don't yall consider coming to the annual roadtrip? this year it is at Wilson! good times
  7. try to get some of your pay in 9mm and .223!
  8. for the 100th time......lmao............ you can buy Lews TP for $130 or less everyday all day if you look around. I have all TPs and have yet to pay more than $128 for any of them.
  9. rage toads big hammers
  10. any swim jig you want, fished any way you want to
  11. felix, I say 10# is good down to say a 10 foot runner.......anything deeper and I would move to 12#. that's just my opinion. now KVD has, iirc, like 10 rods set up for cranking...... all with different # of line, length of rods, different dives ect ect. of course he is doing what we cant, he is able to tell the difference and the fishes reaction between a bait hovering 6 inches off the bottom, 2 inches off the bottom, ticking bottom, and plowing. and all have their time and place. I believe I heard him say moving from 14# to 12# would produce roughly and extra foot of dive on a normal cast. I think you have a good system that works for you, even in a poor mans perfect world you could only really need to add another rod........ one for 10 foot and shallower with 10# and a 12foot and deeper rod with 12#. or if not getting another rod, perhaps just another a reel with a different # line and change out for experimentation.
  12. well, just make sure it is the biggest marine deep cycle they have..... as described in Fishindaddy's post as well.
  13. the cheapest, best battery for what you are doing, and the easiest to replace is the biggest everstart wal mart sells. you can thank me later Mods, lock it up......no more answers are needed. LMAO
  14. I fish a football 100% of the time. wood, rock, dock, laydowns, shallow, deep, they all get the football.
  15. Glenn.......... since you are there on site........ let him know we are rooting for him and the "33"!
  16. Glenn is correct. I perhaps could have worded it more clear.
  17. I like Klien...... he is one of the old school guys that I would love to hear stories from. I really hope he is able to weight in a fish using that 33. after all the 70k boats, 60k trucks, 15k in electronis, and $1500 combos, it would be nice to see a throwback or two.
  18. their prices are higher, and their shipping is HORRIBLE, and shipping cost is bad too. that said, I am sure they do fine for themselves, but they do not rely on internet sales which I think they are missing a huge profit score by not doing so. They rely on brand recognition, and people thinking they are "the best" which they are not, IMO. everyone starts at BPS, then quickly learns other places to shop, at least that was my progression. Don't take me wrong though Sudbury, I am not calling you wrong at all.
  19. you don't have to swing the 7 foot as fast to get the same speed as 6'6..... so you will still cast farther, period. now if you cant handle the 7 footer, then that is something different.
  20. 8 foot if you can find it. dobyns has a 804 Carolina rig rod.
  21. get those rods used and perhaps step up a class you could even get a duckett, used about 110-120. then take the extra coin to supertune that reel. $150 well spent and you got more than you wanted.
  22. Dobyns, because it is what you want to hear and you know its what you are going to get.......
  23. that chart does not have the bucoo model I had on it......... mine was a 7ft H Bucoo. even with that chart, if you want a bucoo, neither of the two bucoos on that chart will be good for you.
  24. I haven't felt one in 3 years........and all manufactures have different meanings for their ratings. I do remember the H was too much rod to be throwing what you said you wanted to throw....... granted it the time I was throwing mostly 3/8ths stuff, and I am not sure even a 1/2oz spinnerbait would been any better.
