  1. nice shootin'!
  2. must be tough catching a DD every 40 hrs (standard work week) how about some overtime????????????
  3. come on guy, yall know this thing flat out catches 'em!!!!!
  4. 00 Mod, its kinda like being at the craps table......... I NEED NUMBAS!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I understand that......but the same thing CAN be said about Ranger here. ie if you dont throw the rig you are leaving money on the table, same as if you dont drive a Ranger on FLW you are leaving $$$$ on the table because of the bonuses. I hate throwing a jerkbait and waiting 30 seconds between jerks....sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. My main point is Fishing has become WAY TOO commercial. Which will hurt fishing(as a "sport") more than any bait ever will. I see both sides, I really do. I am not being argumentaive, just saying seems like people who are against it are rabidly against it, and people who are for it are "eh, whatever, throw it or not, dont matter." JMO
  6. thanks Francho ! I figured it had to be another material type leader. good to know......I lost an $80 bait this weekend to a gar when it swiped my 20# yo-zuri like 1# mono!!!!
  7. to the OP ......what does a leader solve here? (unless it is a steel leader)
  8. ask Matt Allen who uses ALL Braid.........or ask ANY swimbaiter, they all use 25#+. the line used in SouthernTroutEaters was 30# cxx, in clear water, and they caught plenty. then we have the Arig, where a coat hanger catches PLENTY of fish, many times on 80# braid. line size might matter, in true gin clear, post frontal, post spawn, outside the lunar table, slick water type of day where fish are just finicky.........but on average , eh just fish what you can afford and whenever you can. I am sure you will catch your share.
  9. finding fish and catching them aint high enough? the Arig nonsense is just that, nonsense. is long lining next???? if the pro circuits want to get all holier than thou, maybe they should worry about how their members handle fish, or how many fish don't survive after all the pictures are taken.............or even maybe work with manufactures to make fishing more affordable for the average Joe. FLW cant do that, of course, since Ranger basically owns the tour....... or even better, don't do stupid shat like hold your "classic" on the red river in august!!!!!! People don't show up to see 8# bags being weighed in..... but what do I know. drops mic...........
  10. yep ............you don't have to even wonder. Glenn posted the video where Bob Lusk tells you all you need to know! that and move to Mexico.....
  11. those fishermen had "Asian carp reflexs" for sure!!! wow, that could get dangerous in a hurry!
  12. insert Glock is superior comment here? just joking, really I am just joking....... someone had to at least joke about it right?
  13. ^THIS! I like the 9mm cause I can put 3 to 1 down range against other calibers I have shot. give me shot placement and time on target over "knock down" any day. If your hit twice in the chest and once in the head you will be KNOCKED DOWN!
  14. I have to chuckle at this....I thought the point was to catch and kill as many as possible, it is a trash fish after all. also sounds like many keep and eat them........how do you store them while fishing, as getting them out of the livewell could get interesting with those teeth!
  15. if it is the same shaft as the terrova, there is a special blade needed to cut it. or so I was once told. I went from a 45 in shaft to a 60" (only made the 101 terrova in a 60in) and it not too bad, rarely gets in way of a cast.
  16. JJ's is the preferred dip for long lasting color, IMO. it dyes the bait through and through not just the surface
  17. got the serial number ran down..... warrantee runs out 1/12/2015. now to find out about the rest. its a state team guys boat.......so opinions vary on that, and it really depends on the person on how it has been treated (just like anything else)
  18. WAY too big for a muskrat.
  19. just rip it out and chunk it back..........I know sounds cruel but its not for 2 reasons. 1. sunfish are prolific spawners, no harm done to the food chain. 2. it might flop around or swim a little weird, which will make it be inhaled all the quicker by the next 2#er that swims by.
  20. better than his cousin, the boat monkey. been getting odd letters myself: git d nitroz ZA nizs, or elz. I think I better listen to him, he sounds serious.
  21. it has "about 100" on it. my main concern is proper break-in, is there anyway to tell after the fact if it was done correctly?
  22. the bass aint protecting it, they think its a new swimbait!!!!!! hahahhahaha
