  1. 7' 3" M/F bait caster 7' 3" MH/F bait caster 7 ' 3" M/F spinning rod
  2. Either a North Star 5/16oz white original swim jig with a Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper in White Trash color or a 5/16oz Okeechobee original swim jig with a Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper in magic craw swirl.
  3. I would look at the Pinnacle Producer XT or Performa XT. The Performa XT got a great review on BR from J Francho: Pinnacle Performa XT Also Shimano and Daiwa as well as Pflueger all make great spinning reels in that price range.
  4. North Star 5/16oz Original Swim jig and 3/8oz Black Series jig.
  5. Search Wayne P. on here he is great at wacky fishing and always willing to share information.
  6. I use North Star jigs. 5/16oz swim jigs, 3/8oz flip and swim jigs and 3/8oz Black Series jigs. Colors keep it simple, black and blues, green pumpkins and some brown and orange color jigs and trailers to start with.
  7. I have great luck with the swim senko as a swim jig trailer and when I do occasionally throw a senko I seem to catch at least 1 or 2 really nice fish.
  8. I re-tie after every 3 to 4 fish. Maybe too often but I would rather not take a chance. Lost a couple very nice fish by not checking my line and re-tieing and that was enough.
  9. Contact Fenwick they should take care of it. That rod does have a limited life time warranty.
  10. When I do use mono I use Seaguar Senshi mono. Have had great luck with it.
  11. I use a Pinnacle Optimus LTE HS reel and a Pinnacle Perfecta DHC5 7' 3" MH/F rod with Power Pro Super 8 Slick braided line. Has been a great frog setup for me.
  12. I have a *** Black 7' 3" MH/F rod and it is a great all around around. Light sensitive and balances very well. Has plenty of backbone to pull fish out of the nasty stuff as well. I have also used a Duckett Micro Magic rod and they are great rods also. Not crazy about the white and red and color. But also another great rod choice. Of the 2 I prefer the *** Black.
  13. Palomar knot for everything and I retie after every 3 to 4 fish.
  14. I have this scheduled on my work calendar once and sometimes twice a month. I call it working from home days.
  15. If your wanting to stay around $15 I would go with Yo-Zuri hybrid or do what RW suggested and use fluorocarbon as a leader. I prefer Seaguar InvizX or AbrazX just slightly more then $15 though.
  16. I use it in green pumpkin, big fish love it as do little dinks.
  17. The Plano FTO box is what I use as well.
  18. Cavitron black on black
  19. Why can't I open this video from my phone? It just shows me the html code.
  20. How deep was the fish caught? 2 feet Did the lure contain rattles or have hinges? No Was the lure a natural color (brown, green) or was it an unnatural color (chartreuse, orange)? White If possible, what moon phase was your PB caught during? Waxing Crescent
  21. Not real big on spinner baits, but I mainly use Strike King KVD spinner baits, War Eagle and most recently North Star spinner baits. Also want to try Seibert spinner baits.
  22. I have used my 7' 3" M/F for lipless cranks and square bills. Not anything that deep. I have had great luck with it and it has performed very well with them.
  23. Thats too bad. That is the 1st one I have heard of. I have landed plenty of bass well over 4lbs with all of my *** rods.
  24. The DHC7 rods look like they are technique specific is the only thing. I have been wanting to try a Pinnacle rod. I have heard very little about Pinnacle products but everything you read or hearbis very positive. To me the Aetos rod handles are just way to skinny. But all the guys in our local tackle shop love them. Avids are great rods. I do not like the hump they have in their grip and they are under rated on power and are tip heavy. At least all the St Croix rods I have fished have seemed this way.
