  1. Accessories and under Reel Care
  2. Check to make sure the knobs screw on and are not attached by a rivet. You can probably find handles and knobs on ebay or maybe check with the guys at HawgTech.
  3. Does the handle have the bearings for the knobs?
  4. It sounds like the one way roller bearing moved up slightly and started rubbing on the handle. It should be pressed into place and shouldn't move like that. I would try fishing with it and see if it does it again, it may or may not. If it does just take it back to BPS and they will replace it with a new one. Hopefully it won't move again on you.
  5. I use the 7' 3" M/F for fishing 5/16oz swim jigs in grass, lily pads, around timber etc.... using 10lbs fluorocarbon and have not had any issues getting 3lbs plus fish out of the nasty stuff. I thought the medium would be to soft but it has been great. As for length that is your call. I didn't think I would like the 7' 3" at first but I am glad I went with it.
  6. Swim jigs are a great lure and can be used just about anywhere in any circumstance and have always produced for me. I will fish them in grass, around lily pads, around timber, docks, etc.... They have a more bullet shaped head for coming thru the grass a lighter weed guard and a lighter hook as well as a smaller skirt. Be sure to invest in some quality swim jigs so you don't get discouraged. North Star, Seibert, Dirty Jigs, Strike king and others all make excellent swim jigs. For trailers thats up to you. You can basically use anything you want. I use 5/16oz North Star original swim jigs and use a Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper trailer. Been my best producer this year. I also will use a Kinami 4inch single tail grub or a Havoc Subwoofer. You can't fish them wrong...
  7. Didn't even really realize he was no longer with YUM this year till you mentioned it.
  8. That makes sense. Did not realize Megabass was now a sponsor.
  9. Johnny Morris Carbonlite rods are great rods but the Duckett Micro Magic in my opinion is a much better rod but it is also a little bit more expensive. They are not as good as Falcon Cara T7 rods and they are definitely better then Abu Garcia Rods.
  10. Not sure, but I have that exact bait and it catches fish. But you are right there really is nothing chartreuse about it.lol
  11. This is from the Bassmaster web site: His go-to lures were a War Eagle Spot Remover spinnerbait in a shad color, a Texas-rigged Zoom Z-Hog Jr., and various crankbaits. His flipping line was a Bass Pro Shops braid with a 20-pound fluorocarbon leader.
  12. If your not in a hurry I would wait and see about the Daiwa Tatula or the Tatula Type R. If you are wanting to purchase soon the Shimano Chronarch, Pinnacle Optimus LTE, Abu Garcia Revo STX, Lews Super Duty, Lews Tournament Pro etc... all great reels.
  13. Fluorocarbon Seaguar InvizX or AbrazX are both great lines for what you are wanting to do.
  14. I am surprised no one has mentioned the Pinnacle Optimus LTE reels. Great reels for the price.
  15. Boomer Sooners...
  16. I use 10lbs InvizX on my swim jig rod and 12lbs InvizX on my jig rod. Fish around timber, grass and lily pads. If needed I will move up to 15lbs AbrazX but very rarely.
  17. Pinnacle Performa XT Spinning reel and a *** *** Black Med/Lt rod. Length is your choice. 6' 7", 6' 10" or 7' 1" I have been very impressed with this reel and this rod and I use it for finesse applications.
  18. Pretty sure the guys from NorthStar and Seibert will chime in also. Probably fishing or busy making jigs and spinner baits.
  19. Fluorocarbon for me. Also not had any problems fishing it around thick grass and some lily pads plus no problems around timber. Sensitivity to me is just fine.
  20. I have products from all 3 of them and like them all. You cant go wrong with any of the 3 manufacturers. NorthStar MegaStrike and Seibert
  21. Stick with fluorocarbon and skip the braid....
  22. Palomar knot and Seaguar InvizX, AbrazX and Tatsu and Yo-Zuri Hybrid
  23. I would look at Yo-Zuri Hybrid line. Tough, durable, abrasion resistant and very manageable.
  24. The Tackle Warehouse bag is awesome looking and is pretty much setup perfectly. Unfortunately almost all of the reviews are negative about its durability.
