  1. Same here don't peg in open water to light cover but will peg for heavy cover.
  2. I would PM Mike with DVT he more then likely can walk you through it.
  3. I prefer mono or copoly for my top water applications.
  4. NorthStar or Seibert are AMAZING jigs. They are all I use.
  5. Mine is the swim jig. It just has been the best producer for me over the past 5 to 6 years and I have a lot of confidence in it and will throw it anywhere and at anytime and am completely confident I will catch fish with it.
  6. The *** *** Black rods are great rods for the money. They have 7' 3" in MH and H a 7' 6" in MH and a 7' 11" in H Any of those 3 rods would be great. The 7' 3" and 7' 6" are $120 and the 7' 11" is $130 Also all of there H rods are an XF action. I do not fish really heavy cover so I currently use the 7' 6" MH rod and just got to try it for the first time yesterday and today and performed exceptionally well.
  7. The Chronarch D is an awesome reel. But yes they are EXPENSIVE. There was quite a few for sale a while back on TT and they were going for a pretty penny $$$$ But they are awesome reels
  8. I would look at Danner High Ground 8 inch insulated and Gore-Tex hunting boots. In Mossy Oak Break Up Infinity pattern.
  9. 2 games, 1game a piece, 6 regular periods and 4 OT periods. Going to be a great series. Way to go Bruins....
  10. Great stuff, I just spray it on before I head out fishing for the day and I always use it on my line when spooling new line on a reel.
  11. Lews, BPS, Abu Garcia all come from the same factory in Korea.
  12. It is a very sweet looking reel.
  13. A good reel cleaning and proper lubing and oiling of the reel and a good flushing of the spool bearings and oiling of them.
  14. Having fished both the Mojo Bass and the *** Black I personally prefer the *** Black. Its light, sensitive and balances extremely well. Looks very nice also. The Mojo is a great rod but is very tip heavy to me. I currently have the *** Black in 7' 3" M/F and use it for light jigs, tubes etc...
  15. Thats pretty AWESOME. One of my all time favorites.
  16. Now thats funny.lol
  17. That was a great game. If they play 7 games like that it will be a Stanley Cup to remember.
  18. It was done via PM and I will put it all together and send it to you via PM.
  19. I have 4 Gen 3 STX reels and am picking up my 5th this weekend. I have not had a single problem with any of my STX reels, knock on wood. All of my STX reels have been purchased in the last 2 months from my local sporting goods store. I take my reels completely apart and clean and lube them before they ever see any use. Thanks to DVT I followed his instructions for cleaning and lubing and they have just performed.
  20. I just use a nice gentle sweeping action. No need to try and drive it home.
  21. Should be very interesting. I am sure Belichick has something in mind for Tebow.
  22. Totally different braking system and a carbon fiber handle for starters.
  23. Bruins in 5. They are playing extremely well.
  24. If it is still grassy I would use a swim jig. If the grass is cleared up then I would try a lipless crank or a square bill crank bait. You could also try a tube. Had good success with all the above. A little warning if you havent walked around there and fished watch for the Copperheads and Water Moccasins. They are pretty thick out there and can be aggressive.
