i mainly fish for the bigguns .... i use 3 baits when i want a biggun .... 1st is the jig n pig ,, i like 1/2-3/4 jigs for this ....2nd would be a swimbait .... next would be the spro frog depending on season and avibale cover .... this is how i catch the majority of big bass through out the year ....

wow really ... i fish in wisconsin we have crystal clear to gin clear waters here ... i always use rattles ,,, never seened to make any difference at all .... i always seem to do good with jigs .... :-?

for line i use at least 17lb test .... i use p-line cxx moss green ..... as for retrieve the best for me has been slow and steady ,,,, keep it in the strike zone ..... i also grease my baits up with mega strike .... the last tip is the most important ,,,, FISH IT AND HOLD ON

ive used this line ,, for my mono for 3 seasons now .... if fact i believe dodge is the guy who got me to try it .... i love the stuf for the money its not bad line at all ....

last season i used the smith action optics ... i loved them ,,, i have a big mug so i have trouble finding shades that fit right .... smith has a pair called the shelter ,,, they fit me great .... now this season i was looking around and saw a pair of oakleys called the oil drums ... i had to buy them .... i love the color tint and they offer great coverage on the sides .... the lenses are called amber black iridium .... they are sweet ///

Being that you are probably accustomed to having the crank on the left side, I strongly recommend that you return and exchange it for a left hand version. It will never ever feel "right" to you without a lot of reprogramming. Take from someone who did the same thing buying his first bc reel with a rh handle. As already mentioned, the handle is not interchangeable. i agree 100 ... how will you learn to cast that thing if it feels awkward ???

so i thought id share my bass arsonal with you all .... i recived my latest rod today .... i believe i have what i need ... minus a spinning rod .... so here it is .. im pumped up .... now if it would warm up already >

i will say Matt is dead on .... if i remember right i said all the things word for word matt has listed here the 1st time i ever emailed him .... alot has changed since then .... if fact when im swimbaiting i always feel ill get bit .... 99 percent of the time i fish the matt lure baby bass ,,, this bait is outstanding .... so some of you guys still thinking about swimbaiting listen to what matt has to say ,,, he knows his stuff ...

i will be using 5 this year ..... LTB teaser 7ft med fast LTB sweeper spinnerbait 7ft med-hev fast LTB big cranker 7ft med-hev mod LTB slop n frog 7ft hev fast LTB big gulp 7ft11 hev mod fast ( flipping stick ) i will alternate in 2 other rods depending on conditions .... 1 spinnig rod and my swimbait set up ..... ;D

yea ,, i wouldent use a trailer at all .... that hair jig has alotta built in action .... now that doesnt mean you cant ,,, i just would not ... ;D

i use p-line cxx 17lb ,,,, works great .....

bolth are top notch reels for a beginer ..... i own the fuego and i will say this reel is really a workhorse of a reel ....

i have 2 zillons .... they are bolth the burners ..... i use one on my frog rod and one on a flippin stick .... some may see no need for a fast reel ,, thats fine .... your better off buyin a reel that complements the way you fish ...

i have 3 now .... i have the LTB slop n frog casting rod 7ft heavy fast ... i have the LTB teaser rod casting 7ft med fast ... and the LTB sweeper spinnerbait casting 7ft med-hev fast ..... i have 3 more coming real soon ..... i like them alot .... i never tryed the spinning rods yet so i cant say too much about them ..... if they are anything like the casting rods ,,, bet ill like them .... outta the 3 i have coming ,,, one is a spinning rod ,,, the 6ft8 med extra fast ..... ill use this as my olny spinning rod .... they havent got here yet ....

well that was due to the d fence gettin after brady ..... once they started sacin brady ,,, he seemed outta sink ..... that was a strong giants d you saw tonight .... im a packers fan ,,, and i have to say the d fence was TOUGH ....

Maybe so, but he beat us (Packers) in below zero temps in our back yard, then went on to beat the Pats. If he is overrated then the Giants as a team are underrated. I'm a Cheesehead and will always be, but you got to give credit where it is due. Congrats to the Giants and their fans. i dont know about you silver ,,, but im glad the giants won ..... see i figure we packers lost to the giants ,,, who just won the bowl .... i geuss that wouldent make the pacers half bad .... lol .... and thank god the NFC finally won one .... ;D
