spros are the froggs i use ..... i havnt had any trouble with the regular sized spro .... my buddy had the jr spros and clamed they took on water ,,, i never baught a jr so i have no opnion .... as for the noses gettin ripped ,,, yes this can happen after a big bite .... so i geuss my thinkin is the spros are the bomb frog ... they will wear like any other bait ,,,, they do catch fish .... if your frog is takin on water i read somewhere you can reseal the nose to the hoo by the line tie ,,,,, id use a slyicone .... they say this will fix the problem

i agree 100 ,,,, i baught tons of the cheapys ..... after that i baught a pair of smith action optics .... never looked back .... the view is so much better through the smiths .... the smiths also did a way better job protecting my eyes ,,, no more strain at all ... they also have the photochromic lenses aviable .... these lenses will adjust to the light ,,, they get darker as the sun comes up and liter as the sun sets .... there killer ,,, i baught the shelters for 109.00 worth every penny .... ;D

before you buy 1 ,,, i suggest you get a lefty and a righty put them on rods and try reeling and casting you should be able to tell what you prefer right away .... do that in a local bait shop before you buy .... one will feel right and the other wont .....

the season ticket holders recieved there tickets today ..... ive already called 4 people i know that are season ticket holders ,,,, none have any seats to sell ..... the news last night said there are around 50 hotel rooms left in the green bay area ,,, this before the season ticket holders even recieved thier tickets ..... this game will be sold out ,,,, last i heard ticket king will have a few tickets left at top dollar .... this town is electric now ,,, the packer nation is already here in full force .... local bars ran outta beer last night ... this town is buzzing ,, i cant wait for kick off ;D

i dont believe the packers are too worried .... dont get me wrong ,,, i know the packers are olny focused on this game .... i believe this game will come down to the running game also ..... bolth defences are proven tough so at this point the real decider will be the running games ...... grant is a great runner ,,, i dont believe he will have trouble picking up the yards needed .... this is where its nice to have brett as your QB ,,, he brings your offence to that next level ..... brett makes plays where other QBs would just throw it away .... then you still have our steller reciving core all 5 .... this game may be tough for green bay ,,, as long as we fire on all cylinders we will advance to the bowl .....

the calcuttas are workhorses ..... id put it on bolth rods ,,,, see where it feels better .... nice strong drags .... i believe it would make a killer worm and jig rod ..... i just picked up a 251 ill be using as a swimbait reel ,,,, i also have a 51 for cranks ..... ;D

id opt for the st criox legened tourney bass ( jerkbait stick ) .... i believe its 6ft6 med fast .... this is the rod ill be using this season

i have to dissagree with avid on this one ..... 1st you may have a gear issue .... i use a good frog rod ,, a high speed baitcast reel ,,, a 50lb braided line ,,, and last a spro frog ..... once you have the essentials the rest is up to you .... if you still have trouble you will have to work on your hook sets ,,, dont worry with practice it will come ...... olny then will your catch ratio go through the roof ..... i had trouble with the gear then the hookset ,,, now i olny miss a few bass ..... i mean the bass that inhail the frog of those i olny miss a few ..... practice youll get it ////

i had a rod built by DG ROD WORKS ..... its a sweet stick ,,, its a custom jig rod .... david really did a killer job and does understand how to make a truly killer stick .... i told him what i wanted and he made it happen ,,, he also put progress photos up on his web site so i could see the progress ..... from start to finish it olny took him a few days to get the rod in my hands ..... he builds on st croix blanks witch is a big plus in my book .... he also did the eye wrappes to match my reel .... he is a pro and super easy to deal with .... i must also tell you im in no way sponsered or in any type of bisness with dg rod works ..... david just makes a killer stick and deserves a recomendation .... ;D
