ive been thinking of fishing a few partner tourneys .... i do have questions .... how do partners split winnings ???? like say you won a boat do the partners split the boat ??? im geussing i wont win a boat but as a non boating partner i wonder .... would the boater win the boat or do the partners split the boat ???? i know not every team is the same ,,, but there has to be a genreal ideal on how these splits are done .... i ask these questions because i have never fished a tourney so please forgive my ignorance .... i just feel better asking these questions here so i have an ideal .....

i will always toss a mattlure baby bass first .... the bait is a killer .... i live in northern wisconsin ,,, we olny have the northern strain of large mouth bass here .... here a 5lber is a toad and 8 are almost unheard of .... or record bass is 11lbs i believe so we dont have big bass by any means .... this fish is 14 inches if i remember correctly .... look how he ate that thing .... these are the ones i use give matt a call he really makes a great bait ;D

i have a few ,,, olny thing i can say .... i cant keep the pike off them ... i live in wisconsin we have a ton of pike in our waters ,,,, i believe i could catch some bass if the pike would leave the bait alone long enough .... its weird but for some reason the pike love that thing ,,, the other lure they seem to love is the rattle traps .... :-?

you could have a cusom stick made .... reel mech /// makes a killer stick for a resonable price .... he uses croix blanks and can make any handle ;D

im with RW ,,,, that avid is a steal at that price .....

those reels look SEXY .... ;D love that TE ,,, i olny have the calcuttas .... i really like them ,,, i just wish i had the TEs ....

i have 2 also ... i really like the zillion .... bolth of mine are the fast retrieve reels .... i have one on my frog rod and one on a custom jig rod for working cover fast ,,, altho i may switch to the fugo on my jig stick ...... we will see ... the zillion is a sweet reel ,, well worth the money

i know when i leave this place ill be going to that BASS POND IN THE SKY .... what a great way to go ....

i live in green bay ,,, and i will say there is a buzz around town ..... we look good so far ,,, be care full the packers seem to get hot this time of year ... i cant wait till we face detroit or dallas thats all i will say .....

i wont say i believe in bigfoot .... altho there was a DNR here in wisconsin that was picking up road kill and tossin it in the back of his pick up .... he stopped to toss a small deer in the back and at his next stop he says his truck started shakin and he saw a big foot run off with the deer ..... who knows ... there could be .... i mean there are plenty of places just here in wi where people dont venture .... i thought it was creepy that a DNR of all people would say he saw one ,,, trust he knows what a bear looks like ..... :-/

anyone here using this stick ???? i really like the look of this stick .... it is the next stick on my hit list ,,,, anyone using this stick sound off ,,,, let us know what you think .....

you may wanna check and see if you can find a avid on sale .... i know around here they where on clearance for 100 bucks new with the warrenty .... i believe reeds on line may still have them .... the avid would set that reel off in a big way and if you could score one for 100 bucks ......

i had a pair i absolutly loved .... they where the smith action optics ,,, shelters .... i had the photo chromic pair and they where killer ..... they cost 109 but worth every penny ... look them up you wont be sorry .... i had the copper lense brown frame ..... ;D

calcutta 300 or cardiff 300 .... now most guys in calli are using the 400 but imo you may not need all that reel .... depeneds on bait size and line size .... i would go calcutta 300 no dout .....

yes none of my avids have done that eighter .... i love my avids .... tube that rod up and send her in .... warrenty is the answer .... hey you will get the new avid with the ipc tooling .... i believe Avid a simmular problem with a rod in the past he sent his in and they replaced it no questions .... ;D

mich ,,, i have had other split grip rods ... i have a okuma big bait spec. and i have a rod our own reel mech make custom for me .... some people just dont like a split grip it happens .... my brother inlaw cant use a split grip at all ...... he also doesnt see any benifit in a light weight rig .... different strokes for different folks i geuss .... ;D this is the rod reel mech made for me and yes it is a great stick too . ;D

see island i see what your doing here .... and you almost got me .... lol ,,,, if the wife caught me buyin a new xmg it would be over ... she was a little lit after the 2 legened tourney bass rods came today .... i cant wait to see here after i get the reels ... lol .... dont worry tho buddy by spring i hope to have a xmg ..... ohh then ill need another reel ,,,, man she will hate me ..... ;D

ohh islandbass breaking out the big guns ..... imo that rod is a sleeper ..... i agree 100 .... thats the next rod on my hit list .... the handel on that stick looks outta this world .... i bet you could feel a bass looking at your bait ....

well i must say 1st thats a sweet lookin stick ..... however i do have questions .... the action of this rod is different so i cant say i understand the action at all .... i geuss what i read here ,,, it looks like the rod would be good for spinnerbaits and cranks .... i couldent see fishin jigs or worms with this stick .... the maker of the rod is Ken w the old pres of arrius rods so the man is a rod designer ..... however he leaves arrius to make rods for a company e21 a golf club comapny .... ive also read that the rod shown at icast as the carrot stick is different in many ways .... ive looked at pictures of bolth and do see plenty of differences .... i read that the carrot sticks that are being sold now arent or dont even have the carrot stands in the blank due to weight and inability to keep the strands on the blank ..... i dont know what to think .... i know Ken is a stand up guy ,, infact ive spoke with him before about buyin a arrius xl ..... it just seems like a bad joke or somthing .... i dont get it at all ..... when i think of fishing i dont think of carrots or golf clubs .... someone help me understand what is going on here??????????

that rod you where askin about the lt diawa frog rod i saw posted on tackle tours flea market ....

hey chris ... i did notice the handel does seem a little short , but if you palm your reel the handel is almost perfect .... i do palm my reel so i have no trouble with the split cork ..... im still playin with these rods ... ive been pitching jigs down the hall way all night and casting senkos off the porch all day ... i will say the teaser(7ft-med-fast) rod loads perfectly when tossin a senko .... no effort casting ,,, i was useing a med hev avid for senkos ,,, no more i have my teaser for that .... the sweeper spinnerbait seems like a great stick also it 7ft medhev fast ,,, i have a avid with the same ratings the sweeper just seems liter ..... and i do need a reel for this rod that zillion is just too heavy .... ;D
