Anyone else use their anchors on windy points?
All the time. Double anchoring on wind blown points is a go-to technique for us in these parts. I love draggin' worms and jigs up hill on points stacked bait and gamefish. Slow rolling a spinner bait can be deadly too...

Has the term "flipping" replaced the term "pitching"?
Flippin' N' Pitchin' and Cover & Structure are probably the tow most misused, confused or switched terms in all of bass fishing. I have fished with people for years who have been fishing for decades who either don't know or don't care to use the terms properly.

Multiple rods on the boat deck
Usually about a 1/2 dozen on deck at any given time. Usually not very much more. I might be only using one or two for the whole trip though.

Unfortunate incident with fellow angler.
Other than actual "dangerous" behavior (full plane drive by's) cutting between us and the point/ shore might be my biggest pet peeve. Engaging them is usually a futile endeavor. Sounds like you played your cards right. Not that long ago we had a couple of guys come blasting in full plane on us in between us and the shore on a long (and I mean long) tapering point as we were working our way uphill only to drop shop and start fishing the shoreline. Head scratcher for sure...

Listening to music while fishing
Nope. Never have, never will. So may reasons why. I want to hear everything around me. Breaking fish at my back? Grab the top water setup, spin around and fire out at that boil. Someone coming in hot on a plane around a corner? Get ready to move if need be. A nice tranquil morning with the sounds of nature in full effect? Priceless...

Fluoro Faults
Faults? The price! Haha. In all seriousness, probably the knot strength is the number one offender. With that being said I haven't really had a problem with he Palomar or the SD Jam knot.

Right or left
Baitcasters right handed, spinning gear left. Its just how I have always done it and any other way feels weird. I feel the reasons stated in RW's posts play into this, although I can fish either way in a pinch.
