Is it likely that this is bass feeding on frogs?
Toss a hollow body frog out there. I bet you you come back with another frog. My experience is that frogs are territorial as hell! Frog on frog violence is real!

Versatile Reel For ~1 OZ Baits
It sounds like a Tranx 300 would fit the bill perfect.

Tackle backpacks
I have a G Loomis one that I use and love. Holds four trays in the bottom compartment and food, jacket, tool, etc. in the top.

Unconfident baits
With a bladed swim jig its usually a slow and steady retrieve for me. Sometimes "yo-yoing"will do wonders though.

That one thing you never thought you needed...
Another lure! Haha. Then end up fishing it, getting bit with it and then wonder how I went that long with out it! Prime example: Whopper Plopper. I was a little late to the party, but the very first day I fished it, lights out! Really though the list can seem like it can be endless. Oval rings and replacement hooks for all my hard baits, Good pliers, UPF Sun Gaiter and long sleeves, Headlamp, braid on spinning reels, top shelf polarized sun glasses, Gucci hooks, Good landing net, etc...

How would you fish this?
I would fly line a weedless plastic. Frog looks like an excellent option as well.

Topwater colors
I agree with White, Black and Clear as a top three. Side note: I have been knocking the snot out of them this year on a Sammy with a Chartreuse belly and Blue top (Blue Crack to be exact).

What is the better bearing swivel: Spro or Matzuo?
I have not used the Matzou, but I love my Spro swivels.

Chatter Baits In Summer ?
I will fish them year round. The key for me is water clarity, or lack there of. The more stained the better. Clearer water I prefer old school spinner baits. YMMV...

How To Fish Plastic Worms - New Video!
You will know when your worm hits the bottom when the line "slacks" out. I almost always have the reel in gear when after a cast as soon as the worm hits the water. I usually peg my weights in heavy vegetation.

Fish get unhooked as you reel them in
its all about positing in the yak. Get that dialed and everything else falls into place. All the suggestions for a lighter wire hook are solid as well.

Lost my classic Spook in green bass color last night
Ain't fishing strange like that sometimes. Last trip out they would'nt touch the Spook or Gunfish, but were all over the Sammy. Go figure...

Homemade Jig Skirts and their recipe!
This is usually my recipe as well, no more than two tabs and if I want more than two colors I also split tabs. I almost always will use a barb wire (or fish scale, dalmatian, living image, etc) as well with a solid color. I like variations of browns, greens and black with flake. I like to add purple as accent colors. Sorry, no pics right now though.

Anyone else use their anchors on windy points?
Yeah, its essentially where we drew our inspiration from, except we are using jigs instead of dads. It's been a minute since we've been up up DVL and double anchored on those huge wind blown points, so I perhaps shouldn't say all the time, but its definitely a technique we have used to present worms and jigs in the wind. Once the wind gets blowing enough to deter other people, we just drop both anchors and get to draggin'...
