  1. straight fluoro always. for the exact reason you said. slack line sensitivity
  2. Power pro Trilene xl Tatsu/sniper
  3. Probably. It also depends on how "used" the reels is. If it's scuffed up /w any scratches it may be kind of difficult. I returned a reel that was 5 months old and sat all winter to Cabelas /w no questions asked.
  4. That Tatula is just about the exact same width as the Curado and Tatula. It's height off the reel seat is the issue some people have. how it tapers in the middle to the top isn't for everyone.
  5. After he went wading in a raging river during the beginning of typhoon season in the mountains(i forgot the country) to land that massive 160 or 180# catfish that apparently had been dragging people down by their feet.......the show just went all sorts of downhill after that. There was just such a small chance he was ever going to top that.
  6. I use the 69mlxf legend xtreme for 3/32-5/16 oz jig/plastics for walleye and 1/8-1/4 shakey heads. works perfectly. plenty of power.
  7. The topic is giving up your rights to FISH..... Call me crazy but I think this topic has a little (HEY I COULD BE WRONG HERE) to do with fishing. Especially the general aspect of it....
  8. They need probable cause to enter your home but they do not need a warrant. they cannot just randomly pick a strangers house and enter it at will. They must have probable cause. Probable cause is also not very hard to come by being DNR. Odds are if you are getting a home visit from your local DNR, you are/were either doing something wrong or did something that looked "iffy".
  9. What can you offer a sponsorship? Before you give the traditional "Well I can talk up their products to people at local tournaments and all I need is a step in the door", you need to realize that that isn't a trait they are seeking, it's a given and expected by every company. you need something unique. what have you done to help their company and what have you accomplished? Who do you know? Rod and line sponsorship are much more difficult to get a hold of than a smaller bait company. start small. The truth is, the fishing industry is a very had way to make a living or even turn a significant profit. A company, especially a rod/line/reel company, isn't going to throw somebody on their staff if you aren't even fishing larger tournament circuits to promote yourself. Start working your way up the circuit or local clubs or w/e gets you out there and something will eventually come along.
  10. tax stimulus sale SHOULD start next week. i believe that sale is 15% off. memorial day may only be 15 too. could be 20. i don't remember.
  11. if the bait sits correctly in the water w/o the feather, then yes, adding a feather may or may not hinder its balance or how it suspends. you're just adding weight. as the water the water warms, this becomes less of an issue than when the water was cooler and the fish were more lethargic.
  12. I was given a kinetic a year or so ago as a gift. I took a lot of flushing and removing all the shields but i got this 55$ reel to cast and retrieve like a dream. Im not a fan of the acs braking system but its fairly consistent and this reel will cast very well. I, however, would not ever buy one.
  13. Dx745 is my favorite jig rod. 735 is my frog rod.
  14. I personally feel both are very easy to walk. Both work equally well. The i like the spro poppin frog over the popping pad crasher but ad a whole pad crasher vs spro, they are both great. Pad crashers are "less durable" in a sense that they just get beat up quicker. Pad crashers are a tad softer or on par with spro. Nothing to lose sleep over. For mat fishing i could use a pad crasher all day and be happy walking it in small holes. Open water or weeds i prefer spro popper or spittin wa but the pad crasher walks really well.
  15. Pad crashers are hard to beat for the money
  16. Legend Tournament Bass. They are made by St. Croix. They are decent rods.
  17. Bass club member is looking into a different boat for himself. I only have experience /w nitros and my current ranger and Z-E-R-O /w stratus so hopefully somebody here does.I have just as much info so far as the ad says. No idea (yet) on motor hours or maintenance. thoughts?
  18. Zoom GitZit
  19. Desean Jackson Pierre Garcon Jordan Reed Alfred Morris FML that's one hell of an offense....
  20. Hands down my favorite swim jig trailer. I really don't fish them by themselves. I prefer baits like the swimming caffeine shad and a shockwave or swim impact for that
  21. Sieberts outdoor brush jig head is a great stand up jig head.
  22. If those are pre rapala ( i can't tell without seeing the underside) they are in really good condition.
  23. The arashi's come in both silent and rattling.
  24. shad black/blue/purple blue gill variant subwoofers, rage craws, and paca chunks i try to get a close match.
  25. I always pay for 5$ two day shipping and I've always had my package(s) arrive on time....UNTIL today. It wasn't TW fault though. I think somebody at UPS forgot my stuff in CA or just didn't put it on the truck so it left a day late. TW did fix it for me though and it will be here tomorrow and the reimbursed me the 5$.
