  1. so whats up.. BOATMANNN!! I watched the final Rambo with my girlfriend, somehow she never saw any of them, so she asks me what this Rambo all about? My Reply... Dont #$%& with Rambo.
  2. I will be there sunday
  3. LOL I think that is our boat in the background of your brothers pic
  4. I think I saw your boat near the island. we got our fair share but we didnt crush them. how about that perch pack it look like a city of boats .
  5. ill be hitting it tommorow
  6. I went to a pro seminar the last time they were in town. One of the pros was Randy Tauber. He was talking about the drop shot and was explaining that if your line feels any different to set the hook. He went on to say that some anglers were so good and could tell between bites and weeds. then he said " If you wait long enough, those weeds will open up their mouth and spit out your bait."
  7. We hit it from dawn till dusk and I got the sunburn and and torn up thumb to prove it We could not find them on the main lake and a storm scared us back into the bay. Plenty of lmb and smb on a silver buddy pattern I refined as the day went on. I casted it a mile and reeled it in as fast as I could and waited for the freight train like hits. Nothing humungus by erie standards but plenty of keepers in the 4 pound range. the perry monument area was the most productive.
  8. they will be on. We fished the bay,the main lake was way too rough. if you get decent weather you will be on them. we fished anywhere we could get out of the wind. mostly right behind the pier near the coast guard station but when its on you pretty much cant go wrong.
  9. Well we hit it this morning and we got 1 smallie and 3 largies in the boat. the north wind made it tough on us. We could of stayed home and had people throw ice cold 5 gallon buckets of water in our face not to be shut out on the way home at noon we went to moraine state park and fished till 6pm in really nice overcast conditions and landed a few more largies. till next time....
  10. I am making my first trip up this sunday. I will keep you posted.
  11. Thanks for the input. I know what Im in for with the numbers deal. I am thinking for throwing a swimbait for a few casts at every spot I hit. Then I will switch over to other baits. I figure sooner or later I am gonna get hit.
  12. I am thinking I want to throw monster baits for monster fish here in Pa. Can anyone share there expierance with swimbaits. What baits worked for you? What is the best route on gear? Enlighten me.....
  13. Not me yet, but I will be there soon.
  14. its all weather related but pretty much if you have open water you can catch them. early season they will be deeper and move in closer to spawn. If we get some warm temps it wont take long.
  15. yeah ,what cart7 said. I went through that process a month or so ago, It worked like a charm. In cases like that paypal is your friend.
  16. I tend to agree, I felt with the popularity and impact of the senko there could be argument for both sides. now if the question was which bait would greatly impact the revenue generated by their manufacturers id have to go with the senko type bait
  17. Hypothetically, If both these baits were banned in all forms in tourneys. Which one would most greatly impact the weights of limits brought to the scales. The ban would be just senko type baits, not including regular rubber worms. On the jig side any type of jig including chatter baits. discuss.......
  18. At the super bowl everything is magnified. There were calls and non calls, as in every game. No more and no less than the average nfl game They just are seen by many more people in the superbowl.
  19. The Officials make calls at real speed, and the review system helps them correct bad calls. Now, if the players didnt disobey the rules then we would not need officials, unless there werent any rules to disobey. Over all I think they do a darn good job.
  20. it was reviewed. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/28971640/ According to NFL VP of Officiating Mike Pereira, the replay official upstairs did see the play clearly. We confirmed it was a fumble, said Pereira. The replay assistant in the replay booth saw it was clearly a fumble. The ball got knocked loose and was rolling in his hand before it started forward. He has to have total control.
  21. after a meeting of the warren commission they came up with the magic football theroy. Warner lost control of the ball before moving his arm forward. The ball was then caught in a draft created by the forward progress of the ball less arm, propelling it forward. Case closed... I watched alot of NFL games all season, and I am pretty sure there were challenges in most of them. Its part of the game now. the last time I checked the steelers defense kept the cards from scoring more points than the steelers. The defense kept a great player (Fitz) in check for a whole half. Considering the cardnals did not use many running plays, Warners passing yards dont suprisie me.
  22. thanks for the last word I am sure if I was a Cards fan I would of wanted one last play. but being a Steeler fan I was happy with the call.
  23. I am not saying it froze. I would guess it probaly gave out under the weight of #56 and he fumbled the ball.
  24. it would be pretty hard for warner to move the ball unless he could do curls with number 56 hanging from his arm. I know his arm is strong and all but thats a little much.
