We saw an old guy there fishing for bream, he didn't catch anything but watched us catch em lol At that spot Czar was using a shad rap and I was using a KVD 1.5 in bream or a shad rap i forget i had a few blow ups on the frog but either they didn't fully take it or I missed the hook set. We went to a few spots in OP and landed 1 on a frog missed a bunch and the rest came on shad raps or KVD. I went to SJGC around 3 and caught 6 on frogs and had a bunch of misses and 3 small ones on shad rap. Biggest was 21" going back out in the morning on our side of town so I will do my write up tomorrow before Peyton vs Brady (can't wait for that game).

Nice fish. I see the 3:16 lure page on my Instagram and I am going to be asking Santa, my girlfriend, for a few for Christmas lol

How do you fish them? Like someone stated earlier I have a list of baits that I keep in my phone and put that on there a while ago. Last weekend I was at Academy with my girlfriend and she picked one up and said this looks cool what is it. So I saw thatas a sign and bought it, funny I read a post someone made the day before and they posted some pics of fish he caught on chatter baits. Was just curious how to fish them.

Yea that's it. Funny I thought that was DS spot cuz he told me about it, I never took Derrick there and he knew about it. So when we were in the car Derrick was like MCS told me about it a while back and DS said yeah he told me about it too lol. I think that might have been the spot you told me about too in a PM saying you knew someone who caught a DD using a bluegill type lure if I remember correctly.

MANNNNN hopefully Czar decides to grace you guys with his fish!!! We went to a spot that DS heard about that a guy claimed he let a 11lber go in! Talk about setting your PB not once but TWICE on back to back casts!!!! I will admit that I was jealous lol

Me too gator me too lol I will have my measuring equipment with me. DS is taking us to the spot he caught his PB few weeks ago so hopefully there are some bigger ones biting. This time I am the one going to their side of town, DS and Czar, so if I don't catch anything it will be a waste of time and more importantly gas lol

Lou it happened at Bass Pro, Fstr is talking about that 35lb trolling motor he bought lol Finally going to be able to do some real fishing Saturday morning with Czar and DS. Hopefully we get into some fish. Got some new cranks that I am going to try out.

The KVDs I have luck when it's sunny with the sexy shad color and when it's over cast or the water is a little darker I use the craw color (it's orange and brown not sure if that's the official name of it though). The shad raps I use bluegill and shad. They are both similar in color but the bluegill has more detail. I ordered these 2 KVDs one is pumpkinseed and the other is bluegill I had the pumpkin seed early in the summer before I picked up frogging and the fish loved that pattern it currently resides in a tree at industrial park lol, I finally got around to ordering it after I could not find them in any store. Try them out I know the fish in our area like em

Yea I went there with Sarah for 2 hours or so got into some nice fish caught 12 between us. Most came in that cove that's by the resturant, it was open a lot of cars there they prob open later for lunch/dinner. We were using lunker frog, KVD 1.5 cranks, and shad raps. I thought all the submerged grass would be hard using the cranks but it wasn't that's what the fish wanted today only landed 2 on the frog. We were out around 2ish til around 4. Sarah makes fun of me doing this competition so I don't bother when I am out with her lol. She was poking fun of me saying aren't you going to measure that one looks over 20, lol everytime we got a good fish she would mock me lol

Man I can't wait til my son is old enough to go out with me and know what's going on lol. Today he touched a fish for the first time and then he wouldn't go near the other 3 after that lol. It was funny when you ask hi what sound a fish makes, he's 17 months, he smacks his lips. When I caught the fish my girl would ask him what's that Adrian and he would start smacking his lips making a fish sound lol I'm glad you had a good father son outing dispite Mother Nature I can't wait to have those moments with my son

Yea man I much rather fish the evenings and mornings. Mid day is tough getting the fish to bite but sometimes they do. I stopped at the pond behind Publix around 4:15 because Adrian had a dirty diaper so we stopped to change him. I threw a shad rap very first cast I caught a fish and then I caught 3 more and was only there for 10 mins if that, all small biggest was probably a pound. If you get a chance go over to Academy with your family tomorrow it's pretty cool. They had a pro, atleast he was dressed that way lol, fishing the big tank showing people how to fish different lures and giving out a lot of information and techniques. Then they have a little bounce house for the kids and the catfish pool where they can catch catfish. Free hot dogs and water after 11a. Then when you get inside they have a bunch of sweepstakes that you can enter for gift cards and free stuff, I wish they had a kayak one! There was one where they were giving away gift cards highest being $500. Also they have a bunch for free tackle and rods. My girlfriend entered the fishing stuff one and we just got a call from a Texas number and she won a free rod and reel combo! Not sure what brand it is but she has to bring in her ID to the store to get it so we will be going back tomorrow, and I am going to enter again or have her do it since she had the luck lol.

Nah we are going to gate tomorrow we were fishing on Old Saint and then we were fishing those ponds on Nacatee Parkway. You should try them out. The one that's next to this church, same road you told the guy about the park to take his kids fishing (shhh those snakes that look in here to steal spots might be reading this so I'm dropping clues lol) a guy pulled a 10lber out of he posted it on this app. There are some good fish in there I missed a big on last week caught a 18 or 19 I forget and Dan missed a few good ones last week too. Today we got skunked at that one and then I caught one at another spot on Nacatee heading back towards our area. Did you take your kids to The Academy grand opening? I am actually just pulling in there now with my girl and son, he's only 17 months but he knows what a fish is an daddy can always use more tackle lol
