Color Confused
I had an interesting experience with color recently, it involved a clear lake you can see 10ft to the bottom. The fish only wanted a certain type of lure, the boater was nailing them with a watermelon/red zoom worm, I was using a watermelon/red roboworm, same size, he was getting bit and I wasn't. He already had his limit and let me use his gear which allowed me to put a few in the boat, which I did, so it wasn't my presentation/speed. Gave his gear back and used some of his worms and I started catching fish, the roboworm didn't have any transparency to it, the color didn't matter as much as the light penetration, but mainly his worms imitated a local salamander that looked almost like his worm. Another person knew of this and us three are the only ones whom had a limit that day. So key in on the forage and its colors.

Girlfriend And Fishing
Cane pole, spinning gear required. Just a pole some line and a bobber, live bait and work up from there, focus on easy catch-able fish and loads of then, bluegill.. Once she has this down, more to spinning gear and different fish..

New Megastrike Product -I Want You To Tell Me-
If they catch fish like a GY Senko I will give them a try. Do they have allot of salt? Lets consider problems with wacky rigging a senko, without an O ring they are one maybe two fish baits and that equals expensive. So if you roll that bait over does it have a small center O ring, built in? I have noticed when you rig a senko wacky with an O ring and do not touch any plastic and use the O ring its has a better action.T Trying to get the fish to key in on the center, the hook, and the color change could provide that. In windy days I add a nail weight, perhaps this system you can add weight and or they are weighted centers? If this eliminates the need for O rings and nail weights, add increases hook ups that's a three for one bait, and I like that maybe even a 4 for one.. I buy one bait that is a three for one, hula grub, you can make it into a twin tailed grub, ika, and leave it as is, three for one... It could also be the centers are the new O ring, and the worms are really slim in the center to accommodate this new MegaO ring, but what I mentioned above can still aplly.

Berkley Vanish...smh
Stren and Berkeley flouro are junk its not just a knot issue if the line is bent hard(birds nest) or even twisted its brings down the line strength to nothing. I use stren FC to practice knot tying after so many issues with it and the quality control is lacking I have had loads of breaks by me pulling 10# line with bare hands, not the knot but the line breaking, to some members advice and changing to seagaur invisx 10#, held up all day in some heavy wood and it was beat up but I still couldn't break it using my bare hands..

Fishing In The Rain ... Any Advice
A frog is an awesome bait to through in the rain, after the rain especially if you have the weeds. In light rain I fish as normal, heavy rain is would use something that hooks them easy, reaction type baits.

Flipping Hooks
I am going with a snell knot, found how to tie online its easy to tie and has good breaking strength. I own the 2/0 VMC flipping hooks and like them so I might try the 4/0 VMC ones.. Thanks for the replies..

In Pursuit Of Giant Bass ~ One Man's Journey
Here is something interesting one of my club member's told me a story of the local game commission netting 3 10# bass in a small 100 acre lake in a single night, it makes you think how many are in this lake and how the heck do I find them? When it comes to this fishing I wouldn't even know where to start?? As others have said location, location, location, I wonder if each 10# has a certain area all to them selves or do they stack up in a certain location? Big fish don't school like smaller bass do, right?

Funny Thing My Wife Just Said...
My wife wears my shirts as a nightgown lol, of course I am a foot taller than her. They don't make fishing shirts in my size, nor does fishouflage ..

The Future Of Pizza Delivery
I never carry cash and you can pay in full and tip via a website now, in the soon to be future I suspect more people will pay using a card/phone/internet and not cash. Paypal is heavy vested into making your phone the new wallet, it might not be that far off that you waive your phone at said pizza droid and you have your pizza paid in full with a tip.. As for keeping it hot that is probably already taken care of again not that hard to create system that keeps food hot, they been doing it for years. The issue I suspect is allowing these droid to fly around, few states are banning police use droids, I am sure law enforcement will argue cant have one without the other. These patrol droids costs around 30k, fairly cheap when you consider replacing a human. Go to school kids!!

In Pursuit Of Giant Bass ~ One Man's Journey
My question would be is stitching method proven everywhere? You have more patients than I, I can work a lure slow but 15 casts in two hours at 8 min a cast ouch.. Carry on and good luck..

Zeko Shoes
I don't personally own them but two guys in my club do and they love them, they weigh nothing and have holes in the bottom of the shoes to let water run out, basically they are a water shoe. However like most shoes they don't make my size so I cant say personally.

Flipping Hooks
Instead of just using jigs to flip I want to try beaver style baits and have a few makes from reaction innovations and Berkeley pit-boss, both are 4inch, also maybe some tubes in the 2.5-3.5 inch range. I have read to use a 4/0 hook for beaver baits, but what brand and size do you guys like? And do you rig them like a texas rig? I purchased a few pegs and I think I have that covered. I wanted to try a snell knot which I believe eliminates non straight shank hooks?

Spawn...riddle Me This
Another magazine had an article about tagged smallies and most fish were routine, returned to the same spots to spawn from the year before. "Most bass remained within the Beaver Island study site. Two fish moved more than 40 miles from the tagging site. During postspawn, a high percentage of tagged bass were found in the same location as the year before. General movement patterns (moving roughly half a mile per day) indicated smallmouth bass remain close to shore during prespawn and spawn, but move farther offshore during postspawn (females move farther offshore than males)."

Senko Tip -101
My thought was BabyBass but really only the bass know, I do know it made a difference and it lasted at least 4 hours with an O ring. I barley skin hook the Original Garry Yamamoto senko and sometimes not at all which provides a different action, using a weedless finesse hook.. I would say I caught 8 fish on one senko and missed one as well.

Senko Tip -101
GY senko.. I didn't rub it, pulled it to stretch it, its makes it whiter on that color, didn't try any others so I cant say but would assume it will work on watermelon blk flk.

4" Senko
I use nail weights which for me is a nail I cut in half to add extra weight to a wacky rig, changes sink rate and how it falls depending on how the fish want it, you can also add the nail to center of the body or get weighted O rings.

Senko Tip -101
Maybe this is a known to some but learned this one on the water Sunday using a wacky rig senko watermelon magic, I noticed that I was catching more and bigger fish after my senko got less green and more white/green from so many fish. So once I lost it I pulled and stretched the senko until the same white came out which I think is due to the salt, same hits and more of them. Hopefully this helps when fish seem to be keying in on babybass. I used one senko for about 4 hours, and then lost it and threes others in hangs ups and some feisty fish.

Ok Its Almost Icast--Time For New Megastrike Products.
Bobby question for you, do you find that the evos tend to double hook bass? I used an evo2 jig recently and it double hooked the bass and I was impressed. Little disappointing that the paint is all chipped after a single use however.

Best Braid?
Been using fireline for awhile and it works well, trying nanafill and loving it so far and I think I may stick with it. X nanofill didn't see the BC being mentioned. But I do like fireline..

Netting Fish
Never used one until this year joining a bass club and its saved a few fish that would have been lost otherwise. As a bank beater I don't carry a net but may soon start especially when bringing in a small fiesty bass on open hooks

River Fishing Tips
People cheap hooks do not mean less effective, o boy.. I buy cheap hooks from a local tackle shop that I would put against any, they are razor sharp, point is you don't need expensive hooks especially when you are learning, but do what you want I have never NEVER lost a fish with my "cheaper" hooks. They are hand made by a local person no brand name but every bit as sharp as your expensive brands, this is what I was eluding to but I failed to realize not everyone has a local tackle shop. Also he doesn't have a boat, I doubt you be able to target the same fish that RW does simply because of being land locked. Again this is my little area but the susky is known for big smallmouth but you need to get to them and wading has its limitations.
