  2. C'mon now.......anyone else gonna join us?
  3. Bought my 25' dock rope and 2 carabiners on Monday. will give this method a try tomorrow.
  4. Just be sure to triple check the area under the deck BEFORE cutting. Look for wires, supports, ect.
  5. Depends on how fast you walk, how many friends you run into, how much you want to talk to people/vendors about their products......2 yrs ago.....I was there for about 4 hours the first time. And 3 hours the second time with my wife and son. really depends on how long you 'want' to make it last. Although Saturday and Sunday tend to be more crowded=more time.
  6. My wife enjoys it......but she also fishes with me most of the time too!
  7. Congrats Rippin_Lips. I'm hoping for a big 'un this year. My fish'n buddy on last year's Road Trip down there, jcdogfish, boated the big fish of the trip.
  8. 3 months ago we shut off cable. Bought a TiVo so we'd have a dvr......bought an hd antenna. Get nearl 40 channels using the antenna. Netflix Hulu subscription are total of $16.00/month. We already have Amazon acct so we get Amazon videos too. And you can watch YouTube and some others thru the TiVo too. kind of miss cable once in a while but sure is good to be shed of that cable bill!

  10. Here is one I did on my last boat.
  11. Get'n closer! Anyone else gonna join us? C'mon now!
  12. The first thing I did when I bought my first boat was attend a boater safety class. My son and wife are scheduled to take the class next month.......they do not currently operate the boat. I think everyone should have to take the course too......anyone operating a 'vessel' on the water.....just like bicycles are considered vehicles and must obey traffic laws.....canoes and kayaks should follow the same boater rules.
  13. Welcome. I'm sure some locals up your way will chime in before too long. Give a holler if you ever get down my way near Tulsa.
