Lost one last year on the BassResource Roadtrip to Toledo Bend (Jack Yate's Classic).....that was the first time. Then lost another at this year's BassResource Roadtrip to Toledo Bend (Jack Yate's Classic) while fishing with the same buddy.......He was very nice and turned around and retrieved it for me. I will be more careful at the 2017 BassResource Roadtrip to Toledo Bend (Jack Yate's Classic).

This might be old news......I don't know. Watching MLF on the fishing network and on comes a network feature called 'Pro Talk'. This one with FLW touring pro Alex Davis talking about the importance of preparing to fish a tournament. They start popping through some shots of articles and Internet sites....... .....and up pops BassResource.com Homepage featuring Denny Brauer. just thought it was cool.

You are not alone my friend. I have similar exercises of less than the brightest moments. Alas, let me tell you that there will come a time ( most likely) when your brain goes into a sort of self preservation mode. i believe that I have reached that point. Now before I do something....my brain starts to run different scenarios very quickly.....that most often ( not 100% of the time) allows me to realize the things that could possibly go wrong.....and alter my course of action. Good luck buddy......just remember we don't heal as quickly or completely as we did when we were younger.

I used to own a 2001 Procraft Pro 185 dual console. it ran fine at all speeds......I just trimmed up/down as needed. sorry don't recall the prop specs.

I agree and don't think they'll hurt anything.

I like being outside. I love to fish. If I catch that's a bonus. i fish to relax.....no phones or other distractions.

I use 20# super cast on all my reels and tie on a fluro leader. all my reels are the BPS pro qualifiers.

Ratio in my opinion.....I use fastest reel I have.....shakey head doesn't really use the reel for action.....and mono vs fluro is just preference...again that's just my opinion. i use spinning gear for shakey head.

I have a bps/mustang. we also have some of the onyx.....no problems.

Live and let live. No harm, no foul.

I keep spinning rods in the starboard locker and baitcasters in the port rod locker with the rod organizers. if you take out the organizer.....try to keep it in one piece so you can put it back if you want to. I understand the reluctance to modify your boat.......but.....its your boat....rig it to suit you.

I've seen it on Lunkerville.

Whatever it was....he just did what he needed to to survive. not like a lot of humans.....whining and moaning about the unfairness of the world and how we should be given special consideration or free stuff.

On the last day......Roadwarrior missed a couple fish. The second one was a very big fish!
