  1. I think that mine would be approximately 1%....you should feel better about yourself.
  2. That's amazing you can fit that many boxes in the back pack. Must weigh about 25 lbs.
  3. Looks like an overstock bait order...am i right?
  4. Looking at the specs, both the H and the XH are rated pretty much the same. If I had to choose, I'd go with the XH.
  5. I have been using the Luck-E Strike round jig head (1/4 oz) from Walmart for my 4" swimbaits. They have very sharp Gammy hooks and are about $3 for a pack of 5. Not the prettiest swimbait hooks, but they get the job done.
  6. Ugh...I envy those who live in the south and midwest.
  7. My buddy reminded me that Basspro has been buying up companies lately, maybe they will take an interest in this.
  8. That's sad Just looked at the careers section at Purefishing and the page would not load...looks like it has been deleted.
  9. You got the from FFO correct? They are labeled as reconditioned on the site, can you tell what was repaired on your rods?
  10. For those that don't have an Academy near them, Dick's has the same reel on sale for $29.98. If you order 2 you can use the $10 off $50 coupon to get it for the same price. You can get free shipping also.
  11. I have the Rod Runner (3 rods). I love it. I am very picky with my gear and don't like to lay them down on the ground. This keeps it safe and off the ground. I love being able to grab it and go. The price is decent in my opinion. https://rod-runner.com/
  12. Oooohhhh, I love the Clackin' Raps. I have not been able to find them in stores. I am glad to know that DSG is carrying them. I hope my store will stock them too. Did you happen to see the price on them? The Clackin' Raps have a very distinct low pitched sound unlike other lipless cranks. I had one of my best fishing days with one of them. I have been looking to stock up.
  13. I bought 2 reels from them and both of them seem to be fine. I don't really have concerns with the durability of the reels especially for the discounted price that I paid.
  14. Why not try putting a casting sinker on the shank of a swimbait hook to get the same effect. When I ran out of weighted swimbait hooks, I've used casting sinkers instead. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Eagle_Claw_Bass_Casting_Sinker/descpage-ECBASNK.html?from=basres
  15. I am sure that the H rod is under rated. I have the Aetos 7' MHMF and it can easily handle a 1oz bait (rated as max). Use your common sense but I am very certain that it should be able to handle up to 1.5oz without issues.
  16. Looks interesting, How do you fish that?
  17. I've read on other threads that it starts on the 8th?
  18. How timely, just a couple of days after the discussion, *** has an article on this exact topic: http://www.***/outdoors/***/story/1734052-modify-small-spinnerbaits-to-fish-everything
  19. I just double checked and used the HOLIDAY15 code Heck I even tried all the way up to HOLIDAY90 and they didn't work.
  20. This deal is a little better than FFO (only had a limited selection of rods and charged $12 for shipping). I picked up a 7'0 MHMF which I preferred over the 6'8 MHF on FFO. Thanks for the heads up!!
  21. I like the wire tie on for the skirt.
  22. You can still buy them at Dick, Water Gremlin brand I think. I have several packs.
  23. Overstock Bait is having a really good sale on Zman Punch Crawz for $1.19 a pack (in 6 colors). I've been waiting for the Zmans to go on sale. I went a little crazy! BTW, they have other Zman baits on sale as well.
