  1. I use the Strike King Burner Spinner bait, in 3/8 oz. and 1/2 oz... The color is Super White, Double Willow Gold/Silver...The Raz-R-Blade is the ultimate blade for ultra clear in high speed applications.
  2. I like to use "Edge Hot Sauce Fish Attractant"...When you've used Hot Sauce you know how effective it can be and if you haven't, you'll be in for a pleasant surprise...It creates a chum trail that brings the fish to the bait, plus it acts as a lube to make the bait more slippery which help you get a better hook set... 3. Good looking Blade Bait built with top notch materials. I will have to buy some of them and give them a try. The football jig heads are great for the rocky water bottoms that I fish on the Colorado River Systems...Thanks for you information.
  4. Have any of you fished the KaRu Lures VibraShock Blade? I'm thinking of buying some of them and giving them a try... Swim it, Crank it, Burn it or jig it. You can't fish these wrong! Perfect for the beginner or professional angler. The VibraShock Blade!!! You’ve fished the rest, now its time to fish the best. Unparalleled action and hook up ratios. Add your favorite soft plastic trailer for unbelievable realistic action. VibraShocks use Mustad UltraPoint hooks for awesome hook sets time after time. Designed so that the blade ticks the football jig head with every undulation as its brought through the water causing the fish to strike it head on for the best hookups of any similar type lure. Once you try it, you’ll know why we named them the VibraShock!

  6. Strike King Pro Model 4, 5, & 6 Series Crankbaits in Black Back/Chart, Sexy Shad, Firetiger and Neon Bluegill. These Crankbaits can cover most water depths in the 8 to 12 foot ranges.
  7. "The biggest key is that whichever lens you use, it has to be 100 percent polarized to reduce the glare on the water and it has to have 100 percent UV protection."
  8. In dingy water, Dense Colors are the rule, and two-color Worms with Bright Tails offer added visibility. Examples are Grape, Black or Blue Baits with Chartreuse, Red or Orange Tails.
  9. I fish brightly colored baits in Dingy or Muddy Waters. In dingy water, Dense Colors are the rule, and two-color Worms with Bright Tails offer added visibility. Examples are Grape, Black or Blue Baits with Chartreuse, Red or Orange Tails. You can use Spike It Dip-N-Glo Worm Dye, JJ's Magic Dippin' Dye, or CS Coatings UV Blast Worm Dip. With Soft Plastic Baits such as Worms, Lizards, Grubs and Tubes carry only a few shades.
  10. Hook Sharpening, To Sharpen or Not... Wither you choose to sharpen a hook or replace it is a personal choice. The number one problem is that you will never get them as sharp as they were and they won't hold the edge as long as they did. You cannot get the same Point or Edge with a Stone that a Chemical Process will put on a hook. To those that believe you can obtain a sharper hook with your diamond stones, you probably do not understand the chemical process. The fact is you cannot mechanically sharpen a hook to a degree equal to or greater than that achieved in the chemical process. It is physically impossible. The chemical process (hooks) is similar to the process used to sharpen surgical instruments. I sometimes sharpen fixed in place hook baits such as Spinner Baits, Buzz Baits and any Jigs that cost more than a dollar. You use the Factory Hooks when pre-fishing, I Crimp the Barbs Down and hope that they get off pretty easy. The night before the tournament I change out the hooks for 2 or 3 of the Crank Baits that I am using for the pattern I have found...
  11. There are a lot of differences between Polarized Sunglasses. I believe that if you do a search in the "Search Box", this topic has been discussed in great detail.
  12. ( "Best way I have found to store Robo's is to leave the cardboard on the package and cut a bottom corner off the bag to get em out. The cardboard keeps the bag from scrunching up and bending the worms." ) By by Brian D. » Tue Feb 03, 2015 1:20 pm http://www.westernbass.com/forum/roboworm-storage-t93390.html
  13. Have any of you ever fish the Berkley Skinny Cutter 110+ Rip Baits and if so what's your opinion ? At the $7.99 price point it sounds like a great bait for the money. I fished the Berkley Skinny Cutter 110+ in clear waters most of the time. I fished Black Silver, Chameleon Pearl, and Ghost Vapor. The Smallmouth Bass that I caught in the Colorado River seemed to be attached to them. Hope that other fisherman have good luck with these Rip Baits.
  14. I use Simms - Solarflex Sun Gloves for all of my fishing. I have two pairs on my boat, one for me and another for my co-angler if they would like to use them. The Simms - Solarflex Sun Gloves are a little expensive.
  15. I may be a Item ID: SKKVD15689HD Color: Juicy Shad HD

  17. Rapala Shad Raps In Firetiger And Perch Patterns Chrome-Colored Rat-L-Traps Chartreuse/Orange-Colored Spinnerbaits With A Gold Or Silver-Colored Colorado Blade Plastic Tubes In Natural Colors, Such As Green Pumpkin Or Motor Oil Black/Orange Bull Dawg, Or Running A Deep-Diving Crankbait
  18. Try rigging them on a weighted Twist Lock Hook, swim them slow or fast. The Keitech Fat Swing Impact has a ribbed body that pushes extra vibrations through the water, making it easier for fish to find. Try the 2.8 inch Keitech Fat Swing on a 1/2 Oz. White Under-Spin hooked to a Sexy Shad or Sight Flash..
  19. I also use the Flambeau 4510 Tuff Tainer Super Half Satchel. I always try and keep the baits in the package that they have came in because of the scent and leakage issues.
  20. My Favorite bed fishing bait is to dropshot the Jackall 3" Super Crosstail Shad in The Baby Bass and Silver Shad colors.
  21. I use the Markey’s Big Bait Box for my Swimbaits and for my Double Whopper Ploppers. Markey’s Lure Company: Need a method to store all your swimbaits? We got a close up look at the Markey’s Big Bait Box – a modified Plano 3700 box available with either one hanging bar for large swimbaits (eight inches and over), or two hanging bars for the smaller swimbaits. Markey’s Big Bait Box is a smart way to store your valuable swimbaits. There are two bars securely mounted in a tall Plano 3700. The bars feature fixed spaced hangars to keep your baits secure and unkinked while in storage. It was a welcome surprise to see such a wealth of swimbaits represented at the Sacramento ISE. The new baits are no bigger then they were a year ago, but they certainly look better. With more and more anglers having success fishing swimbaits manufacturers and designers have focused their attention on quality. Quality of realism both in design and finish as well as lifelike swimming action. Phone 949-632-9824, hope that this information was of some help to you.. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewise2007sacpg4.html
